If so many fraudulent complaints are being docketed in the courts, then Alaska's judges aren't doing their jobs. Moreover, Palin shouldn't be putting up her own money for her legal defense in any professional capacity.

I'll call it a lack of information about the process and point out that Palin indicated what the problem is but, of course, mediocres didn't pick up on it.
Ethics complaints are filed with a commission, not courts so there are no judges involved and a different legal standard is applied. Alaska does not allow any constraint on filing complaints nor any retribution for fraudulent claims.
The "news" should be pointing this out, but reporters aren't professionals anymore.

i dont buy that she even plans to run for president. seems like she was weighing her options between presidential run and book deal, speaking, money etc. and decided that realistically the rewards were greater to make the most of her popularity and collect some cash. im not saying its wrong, im just saying that she had to know that shes got no shot at president after abandoning a post

"Sustained, personal attacks," on Palin during the campaign were rigorously NOT coming from Democratic campaigners. They were - at most - playing off what the media - both news and entertainment - were pointing out to the electorate about her.
