Actually there is a Driver 5 coming out. Its called Driver San Francisco and Tanner is in it again. It looks really cool but from what I read, its like Driver 2. Its all about driving missions, no shooting and you cant leave your vehicle. You can shift into any other vehicle in the traffic.

In Driver 5 if ever made it should have a onfoot feature with avalible wepons and changable cars so that people arent stuck with the same car all the time. and it should be a a more interactive game where you can go into building and do jobs and should be where you can have a multy player mode that way it can make it even more interactive.

I don't mean to be rude or anything disrespectful to this game but the origional drivers were great even though the graphics weren't as good, if they can remake a driver like Paralell lines exept even better and you can go in buldings like GTA the graphics in GTA's former were not as good as paralell lines although one might be able to go in buildings then GTA IV came out driver is origional it is it they should make this but when they mad Driv3r they skipped to ahead not on graphics but in time

@Ledzep69Man after driv3r's failed response, driver parallel lines was developed, it was made to be totally focused on the driving action of the game like drivers 1&2, notice how in parallel you cant even jump like you could in driv3r. when parallel was made, it was designed to be nothing like GTA, and remember the driver came out before GTA, and driver was one of the first wheelmen games for the playstation.

GTA is a copy from Driver. Ok, the first and second GTA, both in 2D, as been released before the first Driver. But, with the 3D tecnology in Driver 1 and 2, released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, the first GTA in 3D was released 1 year after. The Driv3r launched in June 2004 and GTA in october! The Driver 4 in 2007 and the GTA 4 in 2008! GTA is a copy of Driver tecnologies.

Every game that was 2D with a birds eye view, and was half decent, had to go 3D eventually.

They didn't copy anyone, they went with the gameplay from GTA 1 and 2 AND GTA London, and just made it 3D.

Now they just keep building to keep people interested, and they update as consoles update.

The next Driver will be on 360 and PS3, as there is no Driver for next gen consoles.

So now, you're gonna say they coped Rockstar Games by upgrading to next gen graphics?

I'm agree with the part of upgrading the graphics to next gen. But the gameplay has been "upgraded" too. With the time, the GTA series just added some things in these "upgrade", U can see that Driver 2 and GTA 3 have some things similar in both games.

I say that Driver series invented these new gen. of 3º person, and the GTA series perfected him. But, also, GTA isn't the first in this 3D 3rd person games style.

GTA 2D > Driver 3D > GTA 3D
