  • Nothing but the strobes wildly pulsating while this one is playing!! Damn, the memories...

  • such a fuckin classic so good so awesome so lovely so down to the point uuugggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thankyou so much for uploading this song, I love it :)

  • "Bop...Ba-beep-bop-bop...Bop...Ba-beep-bop-bop."

  • I wish this song would never end

  • @ irishalways8, wow....just like 007 and where they played Malibu...damn, blast from the past!

  • Takes me back to when I was younger. I would play this all the time in class.

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVED this song when it came out. We used to go to "Punk rock" clubs to hear different music to add to our break dance routines. This is off the freaking hook!:)

  • from disco to death industrial metal - sweet :)

  • @mparusz How is this disco?

  • Great song.. Flashback to...Paris New York night club on Long Island. Was a great club back in the 80s,90s.

  • On The eve of Halloween I pulled three "no trespassing" signs from the limestone ground posted by a snooty Baptist church to declare "no trespassing" by hand and will on parkland. Two ended up in a creek nearby. The other is a souvenir in the backyard yard. To hell with them.

  • I remember this at all the clubs in the early 90's.

  • I got a synth so I thought I'd listen to some stuff like this for some ideas

  • they should have played this at nightmare before christmas event in LA instead the the darkest thing the stupid dj could come up with was blue monday!!!! AHHHH!!!

  • Oh how I love this song...great memories...great song,

  • great song!

  • this is like my lifes theme song. i love it so much. wish i could find the tabs somewhere so me and my buddy could cover it.

  • I don't have words to express hom much Ministry and Nine Inch Nails means to me ......

  • Thanks for posting

  • James Brown soundbyte. Totally forgot about that.

  • the truth is IN the music, take it, harness it,put it all in a big black kettle, stir

  • I moved to San Francisco in 1984 and Sunday's and Thursday's were Alternative nights at the Palladium and this song fit the mood of the club perfectly.

  • I first heard of this song on Music Choice and fell in love with it ever since.

  • No school like the old school

  • Brings em back!

  • First heard this in some snowboarding videos back in, what, 88 or so (Western Front by the Avalanche snowboarding team)? Damian Sanders was my hero, and I got introduced to many amazing bands as a result. Ministry was my favorite!

  • Where's the vid? Why just the tune?

  • If I could go back and choose my life, I would want to be born in 1959, so when I was 21 it would be 1980 when everything awesome came out. Movies, music, machines, weapons, clothing style, etc. Sadly I was born in 1991 and the earliest thing I remember is from 1995 and it's a very brief memmory. 2000 is when I really start to remember things. I will never get to live the best times there were, just able to listen and read about the history. . .

  • @ShadowoOfBlood As someone born in 1959, I'm glad you envy my birthyear. Thanks.

  • Hmm, metal Ministry or goth/dance Ministry? I'm torn here

  • When music was good :D

  • WOW it's FIRE and ICE all over again!

  • Great classic of ministry thx for the upload!

  • your first time listening to this. where the fuck you been?

under a rock. YOUR PROBALLY JUST LISTENING TO THIS CAUSE YOUR TRYING TO BE DOWN

  • This is my first time listening to this.

  • why cant i live a life for me....

  • Gracias

  • damn i'm glad i'm revisting this ol shit tonite! i'm a teen again and always! ya! thanks!

  • It's really funny how Ministry started out with this catchy song...

  • Al Jourgensen is retarded.

This is a gold mine right here. he could easily reissue this stuff and make a fortune by adding bonus tracks, but I forgot, he opened a can of SUPER FAST HEAVY METAL on everything and made this song sound like shit with a new remix.

New Ministry album is guaranteed to suck major fucking balls.

  • Anyone ever heard The Hunger's cover of this? It is pretty wicked!

  • This song is so fucking awesome.

  • Thumbs Up if you played this on Monday!

  • Wow, at 85,000 yesterday and it sky rocketed to 97,000

  • I remember this song in 12th grade.........boy they sure did change over the years!!! I love them still..all of it and I own all of it................

  • HAPPYYYY HALLOWEEEEEENYZ!! ps: yay!!! xx

  • HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Especially to the fabulous 80's goths-

    you know who you are!

  • @ladypodtron weren't they called new wavers then.... my mom was a new waver, she listened to DM,NO, the Cure and Ministry and she called them all and her friends new wavers... and said she never even knew what goth music was... BTW the cure is not goth before anyone says that lol

  • @alec9tap And i listen to all this shit and wouldnt consider me or my music goth... Goths are not cool, their music is dull, mundane and undanceable so it can never be new wave or indie cool

  • @alec9tap Yup, your mom is right. I was a teenager into new wave in the eighties.

I do not recall "goth" being used to describe me and my friends. Sometimes

we were referred to as dark-siders (ha!)- I was just trying to express myself 'in the

'parlance of our times'. Cheers to you (and your mom- she has great taste in music!)

    ladypodtron

  • @ladypodtron Thanks... you obviously have good taste as well haha

  • @ladypodtron This is not Goth? Definitely not

  • Ministry holds a special place for me. The evolution of Al's sound is one of the most drastic i've heard. I admit its hard to listen to some albums start to end. But his music has definitely made an impact upon with me, and isn't that the whole point? Whether its Psalm 69 or The Last Sucker, you can find a song to headbang to. I saw them on their last tour, i think they will be back.

  • Yo about 13 mins left, a bit unlucky for those who believe, but yeah Happy Motherfucking Halloween.

  • Happy Everyday xxoxxo(:

  • Today.

  • This song should be more popular!!

  • my mantra

  • For me EVERYDAY should be fucking "Halloween" or "Mardi Gras" so I can be in "costume" 24/7!!!....

  • I live with with rats. Does that count?

  • Thanks for posting this. Everyday is Halloween!!

  • Happy Halloween!!!!!

  • 1986 rules!!

  • Happy Halloween

  • today is halloween..but so is everyday

  • Yes, Indeed it is everyday.

  • @DMTrippin i def agree with u halloween is my favorite holiday

  • This vid has great sound, thanks for uploading. PS. you have some real assholes that comment on your site. Screw them, keep posting!

  • music needs to inspire, if you can't do that, dont make music.

  • @inthebiscuits some good points but a bit generic. it's okay, your good points make up for the shitty uncrative videos on your page.

  • @gameshowluvr86 are you joking? that afro-tard russel simmons owes everything to ministry, early human league, etc.

  • Is it me, or does this song have a little R&B/hip-hop influence?

  • Fuck: Hot Topic, MTV, musical relativism, Hollywood, E!, reality TV in general; fuck your tattoos, fuck your car, fuck fame, fuck money, fuck you if you can't take a joke. Message(?): Stop buying the mediocre crap they're selling and do it yourself! Fuck the DJing, pick up some instruments, write lyrics again (and not about fucking partying, getting laid, pimping, blah; that's what you DO while listening, not what the songs should be about), and make music you actually want to hear.

  • Ministry is very a diverse band...

  • and 950 club

  • Never missed a Ministry, Front 242 or Naked Raygun show when they toured Chicago back in the day. Either at Metro or Exit...(On Wells). Or bumping into them at Wax Trax, NEO, Dreamerz, Avalon, Berlin, OBanions or OverEasy! Ahhh Good times! if I only had a fricken camcorder.

  • WHoa....These Guys Rocked the Metro....Dual Drummers and a stage setting behind a Chain-linked fence.....My God those were the days!~

  • Medusa's!!! So good!

  • Fuck all those who bash old Ministry. This band was at the peak 1983-1988, after that the guitars took over and everything got boring and washed up pretty fast, even though I love tracks like N.W.O, Never Believe and Reload.

  • @skalberg242 Ya, I don't think that 1988 was the end, after the mid 90s tho, for sure, they weren't the same.

  • Love the track, but think it's hilarious that a Cuban living in the American midwest rocks a fake British accent. Whatever.

  • @beowulven True dat. I remember Al slinking around the radio studio all shy asking the staff if they would listen to the first album. :))

  • fuck yeayyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh

  • ok so am I really 47 ? god these were the good ol days. I loved this song...

  • Most artists today couldn't even think of this, let alone actually produce it.

  • Sounds like they've ripped of the much earlier and far superior sound of Chase- Giorgio Moroder.

  • @WellMeaningGentleman i do not think it a rip. Moroder put his stuff out and influenced

what came later. not to mention the instrumentation greatly advanced from the mid 70's to the mid 80's good song for time even mow.

  • my fav

  • Im going to blast this music on Monday!

  • hard to believe that this is considered an early track.. It is a great original that 80's punks totally were digging.

  • @retrorage1 It's early in Alain's career...

  • back when music didnt suck...

  • @bohojuggalette666 Music still doesn't. You might like White car or Gatekeeper

  • awesome song. if you don't like it why bother listening to it? Troll. gosh get a life

  • Played endlessly at McGreevey's in IL!

  • This song is perfect for Bayonetta .

  • @rongal50

Thanks to idiots like you we have jackasses in this world that think Heavy Metal is the only listenable genre.

  • @rongal50

Still sounds better than all that super loud heavy fast Bush Ministry garbage they've been putting out for years now, you dumb shit.

  • Comment removed

  • @LivinWorstNightmare SHUT YER FACE, NEW, HEAVY MINISTRY RIPS YOUR PUNY BONES APART

  • @LivinWorstNightmare That's one of the reasons I hate metal music and metalheads. Such a boring thing.

  • @rongal50 That is an uneducated response...

  • Comment removed

  • @invinciblespirit13 you maam, are a total douche. the lyrics actually make sense in respect to his comment. "o, why can't I live a life for me?

why should I take the abuse that's served?

why can't they see they're just like me

it's the same, it's the same in the whole wide world"

  • @invinciblespirit13 ... i have autism

  • Comment removed

  • @invinciblespirit13 umm, no. you said i obviously had no idea what autism even was... I pointed out that you were talking out of your ass.

  • @invinciblespirit13 not only that, i find it insulting that you believe that because your child has autism, you have any idea what it is like. Although if you haven't fucked this up already, I will give you some advice i learned from experience: don't let your kid find out that it has autism, don't let them use it as a justification for having bad social skills, they can get better at it, not being diagnosed until i was 17 was probably the best thing that could have happened to me.

  • @popcornbebop yeah what do you know about it really.just another 2-sense post

  • @popcornbebop get educated first before you open your low budget mouth.

  • @rongal50 Thanks to you, we have people like you who can't spell for shit. What is an AUTIST kid? lol.

  • Comment removed

  • @rongal50 WHAT?!!!! My kid is perfectly normal...maybe it was all the Coke u snorted back then!!!

  • @LivinWorstNightmare perhaps he means the opposite??

  • <3

  • @LivinWorstNightmare Might've been the other way around. lol

  • bopeepbopbop

  • compare it with george krantz

  • @ LivinWorstNightmare: I'm glad you did. :) Definitely one of my favorite songs.

  • I was in hot topic and they started to play this and i was like HOLY SHIT O.O OH MY GOD YES. then they skipped the song. >.>

  • @iLiKEMuSiC917 that is the reason Hot Topic sucks now.

  • @iLiKEMuSiC917 the problem there is you were in Hot topic ... therefore in a mall.....

  • @iLiKEMuSiC917 ofcourse you are at hot topic.......

  • @TheNineinchsnails

actually, 1st time i walked into Hot Topic, they were playing Bauhaus & other real goth rock... but that was like 10 years ago :-/ I used to get some cool club clothes there, which luckily still hold up. But they don't have any good options anymore, & the music went to crap *sigh*

oh ya, Happy Halloween, ya'll ;-)

  • @pessimystica I never understood goth kids...they just want attention.

  • HOW CAN I NOT DOWNLOAD NO W ON VIDEO 2MP3

  • @LivinWorstNightmare I knew this song by Ministry came out in 1984, and bad from Mj came out in1987 !

  • 3:39 to 4:03 Listen to that part of the song and then compare it with the rhythm of the song "bad" from Michale Jackson,.........suspicious.....

  • i like opiates. no depressing feeling the next day and I dont fiend for it while im doing it im relaxed

  • i dont like coke. that shit makes me depressed the next day and it makes me want more and more while im doing it

  • I used to hear this all the time at Numbers in Houston...everyday was Halloween when I was young. Other people my age are so lame when it comes to being an individual...

  • "Ok, but before we try the pissed off, pseudo Nazi militaristic industrial rivethead shit . . . can we try the Depeche Modish thing one more time?"

    Ministry planning their musical 'voice'

  • @skanemermaid Haaahhaaahhaaa!

  • Thank god we have the original song here on Youtube. Just listened to the new 2010 remix of Halloween and it fucking sucks.

  • Snort a line on this song

  • Al Jourgensen is an idiot for downing his early music. This fucking rocks, and new Ministry blows.

  • i luv it......u have no idea....number 1 reason to be a ministry fan

  • Damn good song, love old ministry, I was only 7 years old when this came out

  • Every October, MusicChoice plays this song in the "Sounds of the Seasons" channel when it is time to play non-stop Halloween music.

  • @LatinSith cool shit i love da 80,s bad ass muda f+ckers

  • Wasn't this the song the chick in "Some Kind of Wonderful" was playing on the drums in the beginning of the movie?

  • Holy crap, I heard this song at The Bovine Sex Club in Toronto and it was stuck in my head for like a month. Sooo glad I finally found this.

  • I really love the original. Really shows their synth roots!

Check out a version by a band called Binary.

Its really different but I like it...

  • Comment removed

  • woah! i remember this and im only 20 years old

  • check out 'special affect'.. its als group before ministry.. with 'groovie mann' from thrill kill kult

  • Hypnotic.

  • I think Information Society sampled that "yyeeeeoooww" in one of their songs

  • yea, I just checked the 12" single was released in 1984.

the album, 12 " singles was released in 1987, but this single was released 3 years prior to that

I knew it was earlier than 87

  • are we sure this 12" came out in 87. Im only going from memory, and seeing them play in Boston at the Chanel. I remember it being earlier than 87. I bought this as soon as I saw it, because I was so in love w/ the with sympathy album. like I said I have no facts except memory but I think it was before 87. I may be wrong, was a long time ago

  • fuck the halloween movie remake both 1 and 2 remakes were a piece of crap and they didnt need to be remade in the first place only movies that suck should be remade.

  • @royalnaz1

All movies that suck should be remade! All great movies should NEVER be remade unless done flawlessly!

  • Comment removed

  • I can listen to this song just to hear the bop, bop, bop bop, bop, bop alone.

  • I love this song and the remix is even more of a thrill

  • This song is so hot! I long for the 80's!

  • I owned this 12" in 1989. It was the only 12" vinyl I ever bought.

  • This is one of my favorites. Always will be Halloween!

  • I think the song is Coldwave or Synthpop... Very great song

    Greetings from México

  • Wow, I'm back at Medusa's!

  • @Konuku In Chicago?

  • @Konuku LOL, ME TOO!!!!

This song certainly defined a period of my life.
