R.I.P jun suba ... peace from germany

  • This brings me to tears, I love beats like this. So Calming. Rip nujabes, Fat Jon keep doin what your doin! "Daaaay..."

  • I wish that fat jon was more well known also, i think that his music is incredible. I am not usually one for hip-hop (i know this is not hip-hop but its hard to find a genre to call this.) but this music can keep me up all night, just beautiful.

  • @accursedseraphim true very true. we are the special minority that knows an appreciates great music like this. thank God.

  • a year later and its almost 6000 views lol

  • One of my favorite albums ever...

  • i'm glad tracks like this exist in reality and not just in my mind

  • rage on fat jon rage on!

  • @nyrel23 me too :D

  • Deep tune.

  • Omg, beautiful...

  • My discovery of fat Jon stems from adult swim, who played five deez instrumentals, the group which fat jon is a part of......changed my music life.

  • deep song...love it

  • Discovered this from Pandora..Fat Jon is unreal

  • same here!!

  • <3 this

  • I'm plenty of you discovered Fat Jon from Nujabes, and Nujabes from Champloo. I think Jon might have been a total genius for working with Nujabes and I think they both might be geniuses for associating their music with an awesome, yet under recognized anime. It got thier work out enough to be recognized by people who are willing to dig deeper to find out just who produced that beautiful, soothing tune, but not enough to be swallowed by the mainstream hype. They're still genius just for the music

  • i hate to sound selfish, but i seriously want this shit to stay underground... i'd hate mainstream 2 get their filthy hands on this and do to this what they did to hip hop and turn it into "RAP" or some other garbage.. i mean i won't front completely b/c i listen to "RAP" but only b/c i have a system in my car. and i like my shit to bump.. simple... but this right here... its more than music.. mainstream wouldn't know what to do or how to act if they hear this purity..

  • i understand where your coming and i agree bro

  • agreed its better if it stays in the hands of the real listeners

  • 150% true. Last thing we need for his beats to slowly start sounding like G.S Boys or some garbage.

  • exactly

  • Mainstream Hip Hop has become a Disco with expensive jewerly. To be honest it's gotten to the point where the beats are foreshadowing the rappers. It's sad really.

  • very sad... thats exactly why i'd rather producers like fat jon, nujabes, etc.... to stay underground... or unknown to mainstream

  • Ditto! I hope as well that this stays underground as well!!!

  • hell ya man

  • Yeah, true man. If they got hold of this they'd fuck it all up.

  • This is what Hip Hop totally needs.

Or should i say, this is what Music NEEDS!

I don't really watch Mtv and such shit on television anymore. That's out of my league for sure.

I'm glad I went underground because it has changed my life. I feel that i can finally be myself and that there is many other people who likes the underground as well =)

We have a huge respect for each other, and that's a very important thing in our lives. Let the mainstream people suck on their lollipops while we enjoy this

  • agreed, together we can achieve, goals that were once only conceived to be make-believe, resonate deepness when we breath, then exhale poetry aswell with the weed, plant the seeds, of a better future so hiphop can succeed, we can't let it die, it must breed, because it's the only love in my life, and I choose to treat her right, I'm never abusive, we're exclusive, I take it slow, I'm never intrusive, together we can be profusive, if only she would take my hand, and call me her man, but she can't

  • eeh don't let the 600 views get u down. I like to think of it like this: we can think of our selves as the minority that can laugh @ the rest of the world and say "we know the truth, bitches" lol. Seriously, the pictures fat jon paints with his music are spellbounding, each note worth 1,000 gasps. we stand in awe of a sevant of his craft, so whether its 600 or 6000. the testament to the depth of his work resonates profoundly. Pure crack to the soul!

  • exactly !

  • bless the chosen few, huh?

  • @accursedseraphim

    so utterly true...

  • @accursedseraphim *throws my fist up* i cnt think of anything to say man ur just so right there

  • @accursedseraphim It's like we found the secret garden and got toled: everyone have to find it him/herself :)

  • @accursedseraphim hip hop in its purest form my friend!

  • only 600 views thats bull this shit deserves a alot more

  • Yeah i know ! =(

But at least there are some ppl like you who really know what good music is !

    greez powni

  • this is nice-fat jon is one of the best.
