I do not consider it moot - I do not think that people only get their inspiration from random TV - I presume that they're finding the programme so intriguing and thereby feels an association to some kind of music. I listen to a great amount of music - but I do not choose my musical style and e.g. education from TV. I know House and I've studied medicine (and did not by any chance choose my directions because of a show).

I usually mask the feelings in music I listen to and try to get the message across that way, or simply write a well thought out letter. Just remember there's more than one way to talk to someone. sounds like a stupid question to ask, but I've always been curious ... how exactly does jumping off a bridge into WATER kill you? If you land on concrete floor, fair enough, you get terribly injured, broken limbs head split open etc, it's pretty obvious, but wouldn't you just drown if you jumped off a bridge?

@FireflyFanatic3 water needs time to move and absorb the impact so if you fall from a height you will probably be travelling(travelling wtf? i meant falling obviously :P) at a high speed so the water won't have enough time to move so for like a fraction of a second it will be similar to hitting concrete. It all depends on the way you land too. It's got something to do with surface tension
