@FitnessExpert Asks the FitnessExpert lol... It's not ideal for soccer I suppose you could... but because of it's soft texture it would really not be ideal and give a lot of protection...
THIS IS THE BEST SHOE I HAVE EVER WORN! I have never been in love with a shoe until now. I mean 50 year marriage love, not a crush! These shoes delivered everything I've been looking for. I tested them on the most diverse and difficult trails 5 times up and down the steep multi surface terrain both with the "brakes on, brakes off," then I started to intentionally push it in the worst spots and still didn't slip AT ALL yet it still gave me the full barefoot runner feel. Thanks for the review!
Am supprized that a shoe like that would be popular in the USA with all the hard packed trails they got, compared to the wet and muddy hills in the UK which is what its mean't for.
@TheEvilscotsman123 You should have seen the American course I ran on Saturday. At least 6 miles on snow and even more miles on deep, slick mud on rutted trails. It was like ice skating at times!
@TheEvilscotsman123 So. Cal has a lot of diverse terrain that is brutal and slippery like ball bearings and banana peels.. I tested them out and they are the ONLY shoe I've not slipped in so far, I've tried running shoes, barefoots, and all kinds of hiking boots to no avail. I look forward to the next rain ( 6 mos. from now? lol) to play in the mud with them.
Nice review, you got all the information and features. I'm reading Born to Run at the moment, its a good read, notice you have a Leadville 100 poster on your wall in the background. I run a website in the UK, called the Outdoor Warehouse, do you mind if I use your reveiw on our website? Cheers - Charlie
@OutdoorWarehouse Feel free to use it. If possible, it would be great if you could include a link to iRunFar.com along with the review. Thanks, Bryon Powell of iRunFar.com
Your reviews are way to waffly. 8-10 mins is a lifetime (or a mile and a half). Edit. Edit. Edit.

Do you think you could use these shoes for outdoor soccer? Would it be able to stand lateral movements and get a good grip on shorter grass fields?
