  • I was at this race.

  • those fuckin italians never investigated the death of Ratzenberger and Senna .

  • @myautomobilefunk shutup you prick, italian law stated that they had to keep senna alive on life support for the purposes of an investigation and frank williams (team manager for williams) was actually ARRESTED on charges on manslaughter. can you even read?

  • @thatciggaweed fuck this I made a comment 5000 years ago

  • what was that comment about hill finishing in the top 22? hill wasn't very pleased about that one

  • @japantuning88 yeah, I bet he slapped MB after the camera got shut off.

  • Williams were stupid in gething rid of Hill.

  • Panis was a beast in 1997 before the crash.

  • See I used to love Murray and Martin's F1 special (for the short time they ran). Unfortunately they just seemed to get less and less as the year's went by, the purse strings got tighter and the ITV F1 studio disappeared.

We need something like this on the BBC. None of that "Inside F1" rubbish!

  • Yeah you're right. I think there were F1 Special's for almost every race in 97 and 98. But in 99 there were only 4 (Brazil, Monaco, GB and Japan).

And in 2000 there was only 1 at Austria which was basically a mid season review and the GP at Night shows on ITV2.

  • Yep. ITV really deserve more credit for their F1 coverage. Especially in the earlier days! Thanks for uploading this.

Do you have anymore for upload?

I remember they used to have the odd Preview show before the season as well.

Oh out of interest, you don't happen to remember the "Murray Meets" feature?

  • Oh of course, that was one of my first memories of F1 in general. I actually have a good couple of those aswell.

  • @EwanMarshall totally agree, their features and coverage were as good if not better than the BBCs current coverage (barring those blasted ads of course) I think the BBC are more involved and integrated with the f1 paddock, maybe thanks to Eddie Jordan and DC and the fact that they are british means that bernie has probably given them more access than foreign channels, but ITV pulled out all the stops! The Murray Meets feature was brilliant!
