Firo and Ennis was small but charming (like both of their arcs)

Jacuzzi and Nice were just an awesome duo.

Claire and Chane was very sweet, which is funny, seeing as how they are both so gruesomely lethal.

Ladd and Lua may have been the strangest, yet still endearing.

Isaac and Miria are probably my favorite though.

1930's gangstas, a train heist, Alchemists searching for immortality, and a highlander theme "there can only be one" (with the Alchemists).

The story is told out of order and over 3 different years. Don't worry about trying to figure stuff out though... it will all make sense in the end. There is 3 episodes devoted to just this.

Its very funny, serious, and emotional. It has 14 "main" characters and only 16 episodes. LOL. The beginning is the end and the end the beginning, yet it's open ended.

Haha, it's alright, I can answer all the questions you'd like to ask. =) Right now I don't think there is an English version of this, but you can see translations in a website called baka tsuki chan or something like that. And yes, the light novel is the original version of "Baccano!", and the storyline is exactly the same as the anime.
