okay you have to realize there are no actors this is just a viewing in march to see the progress and set design there are most likely other sounds to cover the "moving gears" the animatronics are like the under study of the show if the lead can not get the scare the lead will atleast build up susense and fear and the animetronic becomes an easier scare... so again remember this is in march NO WERE NEAR THE SCARE SEASON!! xDD unless your afraid of short ginger wearing green then i am sorry xDD

@snyphurr1 the forest of fear is really scary. 26 rooms of nothing but the environment around you. creepy stuff man, this video doesn't really show the inside, at all actually, but I'm telling you right now, one of the best in the country. It scared our haunted house lover, and that's hard to do. search "hound comics forest of fear"

I know animatronics are incredibly complex and difficult but when parts of a beast wobble, like horns, it detracts. Also a lot of the sound effects are quite, I dunno, distorted or grainy. The prop is only as good as it is believable so hearing the gears over the effects is a bit off putting . I think there would be a lot to say for using amazing subs, because you can feel it in your chest. Yes, no? Ahh who knows. Would love to design and build these things though.

Thanks for putting the video up but the haunted house looked kind of lame.. I like a haunted house to have real people and many different disturbing "sets" that you go through. Not a lot of plastic popping out at you.

@Ruddteen no, the haunt isnt open. This was for a haunters convention, they opened the haunt up for other haunters to look around. There were no actors and the lights where on. The Darkness is one of the most respected haunts in the industry.
