I wrote this b4 reading lilvinny's comment, but kudos to those like him who are intellectual in the marijuana debate.
Yes, giving kids drug tests will somehow make them do meth, cocaine, and heroine. I've been a lifelong herb toker, so I'm not going to act like marijuana has lead me and countless others to try other drugs. It is a gateway drug. I would of never tried acid, xtcy, shrooms, and others if I never tried herb first. Grow up loser.
Whatever ex-junky... I've tried pot, and I've also quit twice for 4 months (one month before, 3 months on the job) for full time summer job a couple years back... I never have, and never will try any of those other drugs apart from shrooms, and of course alcohol which I don't even drink at all anymore and I'm only 22 so how about you let me enjoy the last of my youth, while I work my ass off and finish school huh? It's not a gateway drug, anymore than cigerettes and alcohol, which are
both more dangerous and harmful than marijuana or shrooms for that matter. 400,000 people die from cig's, 100,000 people die from alcohol, and I've known at least a few from both categories in my life time, and so have you I would imagine. But I ALSO know many people who try shrooms, some people that do harder drugs because they are too stupid like you (education is a key for youth) to know what these drugs will do to you. All drugs should be regulated, help not prison for druggies I say.....
When have you seen an OD on shrooms? They are far more rare than binge drinking college students going too damn far... If prohibition of one of the most addicting, liver tearing, cancer ridden intoxicant didn't work, why the hell should it for ANY drug.. Less than 20,000 people die from all illegal drugs combined, and making them legal while continuing to educate the youth about the harms of the drug will lower use and stop putting users into a vicious cycle of our criminal justice system.
all drug testing does is promote the use more dangerous drugs. any teen knows that weed can potentially be in your system for up to a month. so with basic teen exploration into new substances they will still do drugs but the ones such as coke, mdma, mushrooms, cough syrup. and alcohol with pose more danger to developing teens liver, kidneys and brain, which i may add are only in your system for 1 to 5 days. all this implies is do harder drugs and you will have less of a chance to get caught.

Such an awesome way to end it, "listen to the health care professionals and not some guy with and MBA who's trying to make money off of selling drug tests"
Well, if you've nothing to hide, you shouldn't mind having your personal privacy invaded by having your parents looking at your crotch while you pee in a cup.
As a person who has been subjected to random Uranalysis screening I have felt violated, sickened, and utterly demoralized from it. There is no little doubt in my mind that this is unconstitutional on two ammendments the 8th be cause I believe it is unusual punishment, and the 4th because it makes no since that police need a warrant to search your house, but can make you drop your pants, and watch you as you pee in a cup. Therefore I believe that our drug testing measures are unconstitutional.
@CantStopGaming Can you cite that? i know he grew it for hemp paper, but saying that he smoked it sounds like bs to me... if you are right, that would be pretty badass haha
the comments of democracy ... look it up.. democracy is a mob rules method.. john has property wont sell to me, so I cast a vote and whoever wants a part of johns property, john can even vote, in the end john loses his property to the mass. When does some fuck think they have the right to toss my rights to a vote.. this country is a republic. a republic protects ones property from such things as a democracy. some people posting on here need to read the bill or rights and the constitution again.
"I strongly suggest you take your advice from healthcare professionals and not from some guy with an MBA who's trying to make money from selling drug tests."
Children living at home are not allowed special rights or privacy!! They EARN privacy THEY EARN rights and trust ...but when their grades go from 3.5 to a 1.3 it is the responsibility of every parent to ask what is going on.
TRUST IS EARNED if the kid is breaking the bond- the parents have rights as PROVIDERS to correct a harmful situation- the kid needs to talk open...and by the way- if you are 18 21 25 33 or 45 and living at home you have no rights either
I seen kids who come to college form authoritarian households, they tend to drink and smoke the most in a rebellious response. There has been studies done on religious schools that demand students fully abstain from alcohol and these studies concludes they have have higher rates of alcoholism as they grow older.
Yes I agree- sadly everyone has been duped into the thinking that drugs and booze are the answer to all your ills. Fun will be more fun and you will become wiser with every toke and beer bong you do- It is a lie!!
People need to be themselves and realize they haven't missed out on anything by abstaining or marrying a first love. Hollywood distorts things including side effects from bad choices. Check out the cast to UP IN SMOKE..at least 3 drug over dose deaths. Way to go Cheech and Chong
So without any input from any stoner or movie or t.v. show you thought was "cool" you opened up the Encyclopedia Brittanica and on your own research discovered marijuana may have the "magic elixir" to cure your ills??? Makes for a nice story but I don't buy it- I wish it were true- but no I can't see that not this day in age.
I'm not suggesting your depression isn't real or that the "reaction" of coming off pot isn't better than when pharmaceuticals wear off but you may have been swayed
You are of the minority among the minority of pot smokers. My experience is most people can't handle their high and prefer all sorts of additives and mixes with their joints.
I'm not doubting a lot of the medical benefits- I just believe most Americans are not responsible enough to handle Marijuana as a legal recreational drug...they can't handle the stuff that is already out there.
You're not even making any sense: the stoners you know can't handle their high so they need to mix MORE drugs into it? If the high is too intense for them to handle why on earth would they mix more drugs? This makes me think you have no real experience with marijuana users. In reality, most stoners prefer marijuana, which is why ignorant people give them ridicules nicknames like "hophead."
You don't think Americans are responsible enough to decide what to put into their bodies? I thought this country was founded on the principles of personal liberty. I thought people came to America for freedom. Why should you or the government decide what other people put in their bodies?
Any way you put it you're trying to push a moralistic agenda. You can't regulate morals. They tried it with Prohibition and it failed miserably then. Its failing miserably now too.
if you want a nanny state, go live in communist china, me i'm happy being free to make my own decisions, good and bad, because no level of protection is worth totalitarianism, not that any protection is provided anyway.
any society that would give up a little liberty for a little security deserves neither and will lose both" - Benjamin Franklin.
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than those attending too small a degree of it". - Thomas Jefferson
Actually the 1775 quote was "essential liberty for temporary safety"- I memorized that in 1975 and because I never smoked pot- I retained the information in it's purist form.
Jefferson Washington and Frankiln had no idea the problems we would create for ourselves when they spoke of freedom. They were speaking about a nation free under a democratic vote- not drug dealers free to steal whenever they need a fix. GET YOU HEAD OUT OF THE GUTTER SOBER UP and learn with both sides of your brain
you're right they weren't talking about freedom to steal, that's why stealing has been illegal since way before the 10 commandments and cannabis use has only been illegal since 1937,
and now that you mention democracy, put it to a vote, the majority supports legalization.
our habits are no ones business but ours, not yours, not the government's, that is the only definition of freedom,
and it's your fault people get away with stealing, killing and rape, because you would rather lock me up.
democracy has nothing to do with it.. this country is a republic, i have the right to my privacy, I have a right to do as I wish to my body, democracy makes it so my property "my rights" are not mine .. even my body... fuck democracy... hail to the republic.
fine, suits me, my right to use cannabis should be protected under the constitution and the universal declaration of human rights, the fact that it isn't means there needs to be a change to the system, as it is already set up so those at the top benefit from the pain of the people at the bottom, you cannot have an effective republic when power equals money.
Some of the writers of the US Consitiution objected to writing a "Bill of Rights" because it would mean that only those rights in the "Bill of Rights" would be protected. All other "rights" would fall to the waste side. Of couse, even the rights in the Bill of Rights are being raped in todays world.
you're right, it's all about money, no one in government cares about the people, just how much said people will pay out,
btw, there is no legal statute that allows the government the federal income tax, so next time the IRS comes a knocking tell them to fuck off like you would any other thief.
fuckinghellyoutwat, democracy doesnt mean democrate, republic doesnt mean republican.. okay and voting on ones rights that one was already granted, is not only a waste of tax payers money, its having to do with priveleges to have your rights, that are already in the bill of rights.. I should be granted my rights, they are my rights. you have no right to vote on my rights in a republic, only in a democracy which is a different politcal system all together.. our country is founded on a republic.
also, do you realize that Washington smoked weed himself?
the point is, everyone, and i mean everyone, can already get weed, the united states has double the percentage of cannabis users as holland, where cannabis is freely available, prohibition doesn't just fail, it's counter productive.
I agree we should put it to a vote- the fact that Lenny Bruce said it would be legal by 1969 (with all the lawyers who smoked in college)
or Carlin suggesting the same thing years later or Tommy Chong promoting the same philosophy pretty well proves- marijuana makes people lazy....nearly 50 years later and pot users are too lazy to get enough signatures to create a referendum or ballot- this does not bode well for your side- also if defeated do all pot smokers promise to quit??
you're lying to yourself now mate, the reason it hasn't been taken seriously in the past is because of lobbying from the alcohol, tobacco and pharmaceuticals industries,
why do you think that cancer sufferers were allowed morphine and not cannabis, it's because it's not practical to make your own morphine.
just look at the results of phone in polls, even ones conducted by fox news,
btw, lazy stoners is a stereotype on par with watermelon eating niggers, we have moved past that, catch up.
LJARSONBECK democratic vote? they where federates and non federates back then, dig farther back. and voting to take ones property "rights" way wasnt allowed back then, they believed in the bill of rights which is founded on a republic not a democracy... democracy doesnt mean democrate and republic doesnt equal republican either.. you might want to read up again.
@hardkoregamer999 .....I have done a lot of research and I have come to the conclusion that while we are a Republic it is a chant being misused by the underbellies of conservativism so we forget about democracy all together and simply allow our leaders to rule for us rather than listening and obeying the mass belief of the voters.....perhaps if everyone wasn't so busy buying beer and pot they would realize this as well...and have more money in their pockets to enjoy life drug and booze free....
Drug testing tells your kids that you would rather have them do cocaine than marijuana. cocaine is out of your system in three days, so your much less likely to get caught.
Or alcohol, don't forget alcohol. These drug tests only test for ILLEGAL drugs. These people try to blame the substance, when in reality the problem lies elsewhere.
Parenting? Has Fox "News" or that douche "with an MBA" (zing! haha!) ever heard of it? Because, "When Talking Fails" (as the story is titled) then you (as a parent) have done the fucking up. "When Talking Fails", it means you have probably just been talking *at* your kid....and not listening.
But hey, I'm sure forcing your kid to feel like a criminal in their own home will bring everyone back together and improve family relations a bunch. Let me know how it works out dumbasses!
this fuck dares to quote shit like that not surprised on fox. stupid how kids are treated bad enough they are tested by a school for participating in activities. schools are disturbing these days. if you cant tell if your kid is on drugs you need a test
i gave my kids the rules but at a certain age they will make the decisions they are going to make. all i can do as a parent is advise, punish them if warranted and lead by example.
i believe my kids are as honest as they need to be with me. similarly as honest as i was with my parents. i turned out alright barring a few bumps here and there.
p.s. me and my mother were very close until cancer took her life at 62. ya'll know marijuana extracts shrink some forms of cancer, right?
Unless your kid's a fucking nutcase that you've already ruined, give your kid this drug test, and I guarantee your kid will just find ways around the test and continue doing what they want.
Here's an idea: Fuck the drug test. Just lock your kids in a closet! Woooo!
Haha. I remember seeing this when it first aired. One word comes to mind: PWNED! Kris blew that Mason guy out of the water. It's a beautiful thing! :)
i agree, experimenting has always been a right of passage in this country. the establishment is only worried that drugs will make people think differently, and not conform into robots who never question the status quo...
honest to god, who the fuck actually is "pressured" into doing drugs? Alot of people actually do drugs out of curiousity, a means to self medicate, and I smoke myself 4+ bowls a day, starting at age 12 (and I had to go looking for it, nobody shoved a joint in my mouth). Peer pressure and drugs have become a means to further propaganda.
I'm from the uk and unfortunately this idea seems to be catching on here too, particuarly random testing adults at work, this is a complete violation of human rights. If the cunt on this video and his company are so concerned with the welfare of families affected by drugs why don't they provide their product free of charge. It's vindictive profiteering dressed up as a moral crusade. I hope the fucker catches aids.
well what i did was talk to my parents and blatantly said i smoke. they now know i still do and do not mind if not supporting it because i do it responsibly and as long as my grades remain good, fucking berkeley rules
blah blah blah. what a loser. pressure shmessure. if kids get pressured into doing drugs them they are dumb. i smoke weed cause i wanna and started cause i wanted to not cause of pressure!
i being a teen(16) i agree with the opossition on the testing. my parents know i do drugs, and talk to me about them, mostly 'old school' ideal.
it takes a good relationship with parents and also responsibility with the child. the child needs to know the FACTUAL information on the drugs. example being MDMA makes holes in the head.. it doesnt. if parents are educated on the drugs, they can comfortably inform their kids about it. just as how they do w/ drinking, smoking etc.
its unconstitutional, its self incrimination, its a direct violation of the fifth amendment, not only kids but NO one should be drug tested, besides is it really that hard to pick out a junkie?
Sorry deathlaychur. It's the 4th ammentment and yes it's unconstitutional but hey. Your employer searches your body without probable cause all the time and they tell you before hand that they don't suspect anyone (unconstitutional to the core) then tell you to piss in a cup. The problem is the people who believe marijuana is like crack. These same fools get drunk every weekend and have the nerve to fire someone because they smoke in thier off time. This country is going to shit.
Ha, my parents test me. But wtf are they gonna do everytime 5+ times, and I have failed each and everytime for several substances. It doesnt stop shit. They get pissed for about a day and I go get fucked up even more and come back the next day. Home drug tests are pushing kids away from their parents.
And, once again, the anti-drug campaign (mostly run by religious zealouts) fails to understand basic terms.
I mean, "basic privacy of invading your child's privacy" is something parents should be allowed to do? That's really what he just admitted to his arguing being. Not in those exact words, but the context matches perfectly with what he starts saying at 2:12 to 2:23
Gotta say "wow".
Also, whether or not school locker checks should be allowed or not isn't touched here...
Drug testing not only is an invasion of privacy, but, rather than the American tradition of innocent until proven guilty, it flips that around entirely! You become a suspect with drug testing, esp. at work and in schools, even if you never did drugs in your life.
And why do parents have to invade teens privacy and say "You can't do weed, even if responsibly"? If a son or daughter is doing marijuana once or twice a day and it doesn't hamper them, so the fuck what. We're so paranoid.
If my school ever tries to test me- I will refuse to take it, but If I am forced against my will I will cheat(good ol' zip lock baggies of urine on leg.), and they will be hearing form my lawyers and be facing an ACLU complaint.
While I personally disagree with drug tests and am pro-privacy in all ways possible, no law should be able to prohibit a parent from using a drug test on their kids. It should be the responsibility and decision of the parent to educate and communicate with their kids, and make the right decision. If they really want to use a drug test all the time and be a nazi on their kids, they should legally be allowed to do that. If a kid truely feels violated, he can try for emancipation.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Conservative: Parents should be allowed to raise their kids. Drugs are a problem. We offer a solution.
Liberal: I'm not saying I have the answer, but I would warn against using a solution. Talking is more effective than doing anything. They just want your money!
Hey lib, ummm.... it's called CAPITALISM! That's how the market works. They provide a service the parents WANT. Why shouldn't they get paid? You ARE telling parents how to raise their kids. That's called Communism.
Hitler would be proud of you Mason! Time to end the reign of Republican facists! You have no freedom of choice, but you should choose to go to Iraq and get your ass shot off so they can sell weapons and jack up the price of oil?
Shows just what they want. First they drug tested for blowing a tUba in school band. Now they want all students to piss in cup. I say, Piss in the halls, the library, the classrooms, on the teachers cars and on school boards shoes. They are just prepping kids for when they are older and Piss tests are required for driving. Dixie cups next to eye test machine.
I love that last line. It raises a very valid point.

LJARSONBECK 2 years ago
I seen kids who come to college form authoritarian households, they tend to drink and smoke the most in a rebellious response. There has been studies done on religious schools that demand students fully abstain from alcohol and these studies concludes they have have higher rates of alcoholism as they grow older.
Caveman135 2 years ago
Yes I agree- sadly everyone has been duped into the thinking that drugs and booze are the answer to all your ills. Fun will be more fun and you will become wiser with every toke and beer bong you do- It is a lie!!
People need to be themselves and realize they haven't missed out on anything by abstaining or marrying a first love. Hollywood distorts things including side effects from bad choices. Check out the cast to UP IN SMOKE..at least 3 drug over dose deaths. Way to go Cheech and Chong

Why do parents and tossers like this guy think drugs in kids are all about peer pressure?!
I got into marijuana 100% alone!
why? Because i suffer from depression and marijuana has done way more for me then any fucking pills could or tosser psychiatrists.
LivingFalconEnd 2 years ago 4
So without any input from any stoner or movie or t.v. show you thought was "cool" you opened up the Encyclopedia Brittanica and on your own research discovered marijuana may have the "magic elixir" to cure your ills??? Makes for a nice story but I don't buy it- I wish it were true- but no I can't see that not this day in age.
I'm not suggesting your depression isn't real or that the "reaction" of coming off pot isn't better than when pharmaceuticals wear off but you may have been swayed
LJARSONBECK 2 years ago
In a non offensive way, im sorry to say but...i believe i have more knowledge of marijuana in a scientific and medical aspect.
Why also have you insisted to make things up, i do not recall saying it was the 'magic elixir' for illness.
Facts : Marijuana does not cause permanent brain damage.
- Marijuana scientifically proven to kill cancer cells!
- Marijuana is one of the least harmful drugs, and has never killed anyone nor does it have the possibility to lead to direct cause of death

Hundreds of people die from Aspirin every year.
BenRose3d 2 years ago 2
You are of the minority among the minority of pot smokers. My experience is most people can't handle their high and prefer all sorts of additives and mixes with their joints.
I'm not doubting a lot of the medical benefits- I just believe most Americans are not responsible enough to handle Marijuana as a legal recreational drug...they can't handle the stuff that is already out there.
LJARSONBECK 2 years ago
You're not even making any sense: the stoners you know can't handle their high so they need to mix MORE drugs into it? If the high is too intense for them to handle why on earth would they mix more drugs? This makes me think you have no real experience with marijuana users. In reality, most stoners prefer marijuana, which is why ignorant people give them ridicules nicknames like "hophead."
uglybunny 2 years ago
You don't think Americans are responsible enough to decide what to put into their bodies? I thought this country was founded on the principles of personal liberty. I thought people came to America for freedom. Why should you or the government decide what other people put in their bodies?
Any way you put it you're trying to push a moralistic agenda. You can't regulate morals. They tried it with Prohibition and it failed miserably then. Its failing miserably now too.
uglybunny 2 years ago
if you want a nanny state, go live in communist china, me i'm happy being free to make my own decisions, good and bad, because no level of protection is worth totalitarianism, not that any protection is provided anyway.
any society that would give up a little liberty for a little security deserves neither and will lose both" - Benjamin Franklin.
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than those attending too small a degree of it". - Thomas Jefferson
fuckinghellyoutwat 2 years ago
Actually the 1775 quote was "essential liberty for temporary safety"- I memorized that in 1975 and because I never smoked pot- I retained the information in it's purist form.
Jefferson Washington and Frankiln had no idea the problems we would create for ourselves when they spoke of freedom. They were speaking about a nation free under a democratic vote- not drug dealers free to steal whenever they need a fix. GET YOU HEAD OUT OF THE GUTTER SOBER UP and learn with both sides of your brain
LJARSONBECK 2 years ago
you're right they weren't talking about freedom to steal, that's why stealing has been illegal since way before the 10 commandments and cannabis use has only been illegal since 1937,
and now that you mention democracy, put it to a vote, the majority supports legalization.
our habits are no ones business but ours, not yours, not the government's, that is the only definition of freedom,
and it's your fault people get away with stealing, killing and rape, because you would rather lock me up.
fuckinghellyoutwat 2 years ago
democracy has nothing to do with it.. this country is a republic, i have the right to my privacy, I have a right to do as I wish to my body, democracy makes it so my property "my rights" are not mine .. even my body... fuck democracy... hail to the republic.
nectarineblue 2 years ago
fine, suits me, my right to use cannabis should be protected under the constitution and the universal declaration of human rights, the fact that it isn't means there needs to be a change to the system, as it is already set up so those at the top benefit from the pain of the people at the bottom, you cannot have an effective republic when power equals money.
fuckinghellyoutwat 2 years ago
Some of the writers of the US Consitiution objected to writing a "Bill of Rights" because it would mean that only those rights in the "Bill of Rights" would be protected. All other "rights" would fall to the waste side. Of couse, even the rights in the Bill of Rights are being raped in todays world.
Caveman135 2 years ago
you're right, it's all about money, no one in government cares about the people, just how much said people will pay out,
btw, there is no legal statute that allows the government the federal income tax, so next time the IRS comes a knocking tell them to fuck off like you would any other thief.
fuckinghellyoutwat 2 years ago
fuckinghellyoutwat, democracy doesnt mean democrate, republic doesnt mean republican.. okay and voting on ones rights that one was already granted, is not only a waste of tax payers money, its having to do with priveleges to have your rights, that are already in the bill of rights.. I should be granted my rights, they are my rights. you have no right to vote on my rights in a republic, only in a democracy which is a different politcal system all together.. our country is founded on a republic.
nectarineblue 2 years ago
also, do you realize that Washington smoked weed himself?
the point is, everyone, and i mean everyone, can already get weed, the united states has double the percentage of cannabis users as holland, where cannabis is freely available, prohibition doesn't just fail, it's counter productive.
fuckinghellyoutwat 2 years ago
I agree we should put it to a vote- the fact that Lenny Bruce said it would be legal by 1969 (with all the lawyers who smoked in college)
or Carlin suggesting the same thing years later or Tommy Chong promoting the same philosophy pretty well proves- marijuana makes people lazy....nearly 50 years later and pot users are too lazy to get enough signatures to create a referendum or ballot- this does not bode well for your side- also if defeated do all pot smokers promise to quit??
LJARSONBECK 2 years ago
you're lying to yourself now mate, the reason it hasn't been taken seriously in the past is because of lobbying from the alcohol, tobacco and pharmaceuticals industries,
why do you think that cancer sufferers were allowed morphine and not cannabis, it's because it's not practical to make your own morphine.
just look at the results of phone in polls, even ones conducted by fox news,
btw, lazy stoners is a stereotype on par with watermelon eating niggers, we have moved past that, catch up.

LJARSONBECK democratic vote? they where federates and non federates back then, dig farther back. and voting to take ones property "rights" way wasnt allowed back then, they believed in the bill of rights which is founded on a republic not a democracy... democracy doesnt mean democrate and republic doesnt equal republican either.. you might want to read up again.
nectarineblue 2 years ago
@LJARSONBECK for fuck sakes this is not a democratic state this is a republic!
do some fucking research!
hardkoregamer999 8 months ago
@hardkoregamer999 .....I have done a lot of research and I have come to the conclusion that while we are a Republic it is a chant being misused by the underbellies of conservativism so we forget about democracy all together and simply allow our leaders to rule for us rather than listening and obeying the mass belief of the voters.....perhaps if everyone wasn't so busy buying beer and pot they would realize this as well...and have more money in their pockets to enjoy life drug and booze free....

Drug testing tells your kids that you would rather have them do cocaine than marijuana. cocaine is out of your system in three days, so your much less likely to get caught.
iRule311 2 years ago 3

Let me know how it works out dumbasses!
keypontrucken 2 years ago
this fuck dares to quote shit like that not surprised on fox. stupid how kids are treated bad enough they are tested by a school for participating in activities. schools are disturbing these days. if you cant tell if your kid is on drugs you need a test
IRSFRAUDEXPOSED 2 years ago
i gave my kids the rules but at a certain age they will make the decisions they are going to make. all i can do as a parent is advise, punish them if warranted and lead by example.
i believe my kids are as honest as they need to be with me. similarly as honest as i was with my parents. i turned out alright barring a few bumps here and there.
p.s. me and my mother were very close until cancer took her life at 62. ya'll know marijuana extracts shrink some forms of cancer, right?
ALITL8 3 years ago
Unless your kid's a fucking nutcase that you've already ruined, give your kid this drug test, and I guarantee your kid will just find ways around the test and continue doing what they want.

honest to god, who the fuck actually is "pressured" into doing drugs?

I hope the fucker catches aids.

elleniris 3 years ago
i being a teen(16) i agree with the opossition on the testing. my parents know i do drugs, and talk to me about them, mostly 'old school' ideal.
it takes a good relationship with parents and also responsibility with the child. the child needs to know the FACTUAL information on the drugs. example being MDMA makes holes in the head.. it doesnt. if parents are educated on the drugs, they can comfortably inform their kids about it. just as how they do w/ drinking, smoking etc.
avyion13 3 years ago
its unconstitutional, its self incrimination, its a direct violation of the fifth amendment, not only kids but NO one should be drug tested, besides is it really that hard to pick out a junkie?
deathlaychur 3 years ago 2
Sorry deathlaychur. It's the 4th ammentment and yes it's unconstitutional but hey. Your employer searches your body without probable cause all the time and they tell you before hand that they don't suspect anyone (unconstitutional to the core) then tell you to piss in a cup. The problem is the people who believe marijuana is like crack. These same fools get drunk every weekend and have the nerve to fire someone because they smoke in thier off time. This country is going to shit.

Ha, my parents test me. But wtf are they gonna do everytime 5+ times, and I have failed each and everytime for several substances. It doesnt stop shit. duecebigalow101 3 years ago
Also, whether or not school locker checks should be allowed or not isn't touched here...
sonic8005 3 years ago
Drug testing not only is an invasion of privacy, but, rather than the American tradition of innocent until proven guilty, it flips that around entirely! You become a suspect with drug testing, esp. at work and in schools, even if you never did drugs in your life.
And why do parents have to invade teens privacy and say "You can't do weed, even if responsibly"? If a son or daughter is doing marijuana once or twice a day and it doesn't hamper them, so the fuck what. We're so paranoid.
Whoo69 3 years ago 2

evanj21 3 years ago 3
While I personally disagree with drug tests and am pro-privacy in all ways possible, no law should be able to prohibit a parent from using a drug test on their kids. It should be the responsibility and decision of the parent to educate and communicate with their kids, and make the right decision. If they really want to use a drug test all the time and be a nazi on their kids, they should legally be allowed to do that. If a kid truely feels violated, he can try for emancipation.

If our students have to be drug tested, our politicians should too.
