  • My Sister's Keeper is probably one of my favourite films of all time. As sad as it is, it opens your eyes to what too many families experience everyday. I knew a girl who passed away a few years ago of a cancer related disease; she was eleven years old, bless her heart. But the film also gives hope to people, and it shows how powerful love really is. <3

  • @AvaDecember so true. I should rewatch it. I could use a good cry.

  • I love this movie! I own the DVD and I watch it a lot. I LOVE this review and your message. It's so true! Anyone who hasn't seen this movie, YOU NEED TO, because it's AMAZING!

  • @TheSingingSweater Thank you so much for this comment. Among the many haters, it's comments like this that make so much of what i do worth it. I haven't seen the film since I made this video. I should do that again. Thank you Tiffany

  • @princeword You're welcome. I saw some of those rude comments. Those trolls are all over YouTube, and I think they have way too much time on their hands lol.

I really like that you showed your emotions in this video, because it made it more real. :) And btw I subscribed to your channel.

  • @MrDaranel I don't think he is gay! And anyways, what the hell is wrong with beign gay? C'mon man if ur gonna be childish dont do it in public!

  • Read the book too. It's amazing. I was fine throughout (i read it in 10 hours straight). I was emotional on the 423rd page, which was funny, it was the last page.

  • i lulled wen she iz ded

  • omg i cryed and cry at this omg its the saddest film of all time

  • my cuzen has canser she died wen she was very little and i never knew her she is 25 now n she died wen she was 7 years old

  • I agree with you... This movie was one of the best for me... cried alot watching it.

  • It made me cry all the time i hate sad movies thats why i like better to watch scary movies.

  • You don't know how lucky you are until you see someone younger than yourself getting criticaly ill. Seeing them going to surgery in a chair being wheeled around with a mask on your face just isn't right :'(

  • I saw the movie last year and cried my heart out at the end. My uncle passed a few ears ago, either right before or after Christmas. He had liver cancer. When I saw him he was really skinny you could almost see his bones, he looked so frail, weak, and pail that he looked like death. The sad thing is that I didn't even get to say goodbye to him. So, my sister's keeper hit home for me. I better go before I break down.

  • @1991bookworm you know, my stephdad passed away with the exact same condition. Up until that day, I hadn't even considered the fact that he could actually die, not one single time. His parent had picked him up from the camping ground we were at (and where he wanted to be) and when I came back from a walk, they had left, and the next morning the call came.

    so I know the feeling.

    HUGS

  • @princeword HUGS WoW I'm sorry. He took the chemo but nothing helped he had tubes everywere. If I didn't know better I would've never guessed it was my uncle. I love the movie. Now my grandpa had cancer but we think it's gone. It was a shock. He always called me, my sisters, and and my cousins punk kids. Which he will never do again, never take us fishing, never do the things we always did. we really miss him. I'm 18, my older sister is 29, and my youngest sister is 15. We really had a tough time

  • I just found this and I sooooo love this *favourites* beautiful message <3

  • @stofvod my channel holds many corns of gold, but mostly cause your username appears in the comments, woopa!!!!!

I try to catch my thought when I enter a certain mindset, and here I surely did. More feelings people, MORE FEELINGS!!!

  • whats the song in the background??

  • it wasn't a sad film at all. Lol at you blubbering away. It was actually a pretty happy movie. That's what the sister wanted to happen so in the end it was a good choice.

  • I see you're Swedish, but your English is damn near perfect. Hardly a trace of an accent. Just thought I'd let you know that.

Thanks for your thoughtful review of the film. I enjoyed it, too, and it struck a chord with me 'cause I lost my mother to cancer when I was 6.

  • @musicaltheatergeek79 I'm sorry to hear that, for I know, I lost my stephfather in 2000.

    <3

  • @musicaltheatergeek79 I'm so sorry.

  • i have only read the book, which is fantastic but i have been waiting for this to come out on rental.

  • its one of those movies im going to have to watch at home, i hate crying in theaters ;)

  • I thought it would be a good idea to take a little break from p4a and watch this video instead -how could I not have missed it?!- anyway, I saw my sisters keeper, and I think it's a great movie. I really like your point of view on this. I myself hadn't thought of it in that way, but I think you are right. thanx for giving this other view on the movie! this leaves me with quite some stuff to think about!

  • Sentimental speech :D Check my videos about this movie.

  • I can't handle such movie's. I saw a movie with Jack Lemon called "dad" released on fathers day. It took me quite a while to recover. Here's a partcial review.........The film, while admittedly not ringing true in spots via dialogue or circumstance, is nonetheless engaging, touching, and emotionally draining. The son feels he needs to see his father before it's to late. This movie lifts your spirit, Only to knock it down.Sad, Happy, sad, happy, sad.. It's out on DVD. I dare you as well.

  • Will check it out; Thanks.

  • you really look like I feel after watching a very emotional movie :)

I still want to see that movie, but for some reason it just hasn't happened yet...

  • I saw the movie and I read the book. I really liked both and I thought they did a good job with the movie.

  • I wasn't aware of the book but within the first two minutes, I knew that it was an adaptation. Also, some of the best dramas ever filmed are all based on novels.

If you have tips on similar movies, send em my way cause I love the feeling they put me in from seeing them.
