i was at this gig at the big day out! :)

i've seen the vines play live quite a few times.

i went to a gig where they played the melodia album before it was released and that was awesome. craig was talking heaps in between shows, cracking jokes and was being a great sport. glad he is managing his mental problem so well. he even shook my hand... something he probably wouln't have done years back haha

highly evolved was a key album 2 me when i was 19 and canin weed in the sun songs like this and 1969 /country yard are amazing and were soundtracks 2 that time. but just like countless other bands like the music./bloc party/ the killers the vines lost whatever majic they had around that initial period. a lot of bands with amzing debuts seem 2 go shit after a few years. i think the hunger goes once the succes comes and heavy touring kills creativity.just my opinion
