Most of the time when people get some kind of "injury" from firing the new barrets it s because they dont know what they're doing. I have come acrossed several idiots at the ranges that dont listen to instructors or just dont see the purpose of holding it properly.
is barret a civillian allowed firearm? or only gun range rental? or must you be in the army and that's your assigned rifle? Gotta know, 'cos you might end up with a new friend shootign barrets with you :P

You don't have to join the NRA to own any weapons. Just check with your state laws to see if they have banned it or not. Otherwise, purchasing one is the same as buying any other rifle.
yeah a lot of people think it almost breaks your shoulder or something but obviously theyve never fired one before. The muzzle break takes away a lot of the recoil. The shot going off in the chamber is a great feeling, its like a firecracker goin off in your face
