  • You can die from abrupt diazepam withdrawal and having to withdraw from methadone would make it very dangerous indeed. Methadone has an extremely long half life (up to 72 hours) and has very high lipid solubility which means it is distributed throughout the body in the fatty tissues.

He may well have came off methadone but you can bet your bottom dollar that he would have had a taper before going for the detox and there is a BIG difference.

  • @ConspiracyCult

    What's your point

  • That is bollocks and dangerous. Coming off of methadone on its own without any taper is bad enough and potentially very dangerous but coming off diazepam without any gradual reduction is life threatening in itself let alone that AND methadone.

A sauna does not get rid of methadone stored in fatty tissue, it may help but it doesn't entirely eliminate them.

I don't believe a word of it, easy withdrawal, not a chance if that was true then it would be used by medical professionals.

  • @Sozlled "if that was true then it would be used by medical professionals." Did you ever stop to think that medical professional don't know about it or that some Doctors, especially psychiatrist, don't want you to get better because then they'd be losing a "client" for good. Sound too bizarre to be true? That's what they're hoping for so you won't do anything about it, (see cchr . org)
