Scorcese's attention to detail is so amazing, that watching a film 20, 30, 50 times, you'll still able to pick up something new.

I love little things that he does, like at when 4:51-4:55,

when Karen reads the visitor's book,

the writing is enhanced by having the light shine on the words,

making the effect similar to the way old black & white films would do whenever a character was reading something important.

How the hell would this dip know if he hit Jimmy Conway on the head or not. Does he know Jimmy? Was Jimmy a public figure? No. We will never know what Jimmy Conway is like ...btw that is not the real gangsters name. But doe sit matter...Deniro is incredible and that's the end of the story.
