The globe needed new LED lights so you see the pictures clearly. The globe was put back on September 2008

Many good substitutes. The fireworks and Inferno Barge. We're going to WDW on March 31. Epcot's the last park. Hopefully the Globe works now.

Im pretty sure they were practicing a new show with new timings for the summer when they are removing the globe for maintenence. That or they are getting rid of it for good. It has pros and cons i guess. More fireworks, Different feeling. You decide.

By saying what starts slow and gets faster, that's the drum beat right after the narration, and just before the first firework!

Gotta admit, I kind of like this version. The only place where the globe is missed is at the end. Its kind of empty without it not opening. They should definitely take some effects from this version and put them in the original.
