THis video lacks realism, as if someone is going to stay still while you throw 5 techniques hahaha and whats up you always have to start combos with a low kick? ever heard of punching while you close the distance?
I train with mike every other week I used to train at Duke Roufus and this is a lot more in depth and a way better all around training. I would suggest it to anyone.
okay if you really did that to me id catch your first inside kick then hit your arm away when you go to punch me then start to push you so that you start pushing me back the pivit into a hip toss then to an armbar and your done
Sure you would. Catching a low kick is very hard and not a good idea since you would leave yourself vulnerable to a cross. If you tried to "hit the arm away", you would have no hand up guarding your head, so you would get knocked out.
Considering your name is linkin park, you would probably get hit and then go cut yourself.
if that is your defense to this combo, then you should demand your money back. that is, assuming you are training and not just imitating what you see on tv with your friends.
sorry to tell you but you are wrong. ive been learning jiu jitsu in a real dojo with gracie decendents(and judo on the side) and the most you can really do is eat it and tackle them or jump back and try to flee from the blows they are about to inflict on you. muay tai is legit
True, but many things must be taken into consideration. Chances are, on the street your NOT going to run into a "good" fighter. Just a sloppy brawler that throws haymakers. So a technically trained fighter still stands the better chance of the two.
i would throw a right cross after the left leg kick for better balance.... its a standard combo in training. we are always told that kicks are the same as punches so it should be left, right, left, right not the way he is doing, but still its a good way to break the distance
even a 1 - 2 is difficult for sumone who never practised to do it... the more yu work on any combo repeat and fix the better ull get at it... ie; boxing is repetitive training.
the answer varies if you practice it enough noo.. look at anderson silva...he does it all the time and against any one even well trained fighters. so the answer is yes if its a strret fight noo if its another trained fighter. even then it could happen in the octagon
@itsmetalman Lulz You forgot "Bang bo bop bop Body shot bop bop"

you'd think he'd use some power in that first low kick and then follow through with a cross hook and then come around and kick his rear leg...
daveshow58 2 years ago
@daveshow58 Are you saying that there's only one combination you can throw opening with a leg kick?

I'd humour myself at watching you try. Too many experts playing text based Muay Thai and BJJ.

I completely disagree... u would be better off putting your head between your legs and kissing your ass goodbye.
Pelt1111 3 years ago 2
I agree, however his main objective was to have the body shot followed by the right leg kick [on his opponents lead leg]
