@MrStallion87 If I could do it over again (and probably will one day), I would use electric retracts. There are cheap ones available now. They would make the installation much easier, and you wouldn't have to worry about setting up the central servo (which took a while - and is hard to get perfectly adjusted). I did need to move the fiberglass spar in the wing to get the gear to fit, and I have also added flaps which allow me to come in at nice speeds for landing. Best of luck!!!
How did you mount the Monsterpower on the P-51 BL? I've got the same motor and the bolt pattern is different (have the same problem with my PZ T-28 and Corsair).
@bonsairick Thanks! Used the stock firewall -- but I think I had to redrill 2 of the holes. I also had to add nylon spacers to get the spinner and cowl to fit properly.
@DanielMadrigalC Thanks! Oh -- and I gotta thank you for the fabric glue tip! I used it on an F22 I just built -- worked great!!! Can't wait to see your next project!

nice. with a 50A esc you could probably use a 4cell! How many amps is it pulling with the 3ell?

its always fun to bring out the old birds in the closet, mod them up, and then see if they fly.
