There is no justification to deny the Jews a homeland which was theirs first I might add. But i think Barry O's looking at the *whole history. I can't blame the Palestinians for resorting to violence sometimes- were i in their shoes, i may well do the same. Still, it's hard to deny that Palestinian violence has hindered the peace process.

However, we should never forget the massive injustices inflicted time and again by Israel on the Palestinian people. Deir Yassin was just the start of a history of evil oppression. I'm glad a US president recognised the injustice.
