Way too much fun! That was a SUPERBLY clean and energetic performance, and it didn't escape my notice that at the end some folks yelled, "Bravo!" -- not typical of Tokyo audiences. Hey, NHK, please start selling some of your recordings in the USA!

This orchestra is so together that it almost doesn't sound possible! I can't even pick out the individual musicians listening... I just hear the sections. Even the entire percussion section sounds as though it's all being played by one person! Brilliant!

Amen to that. Sorry, but the bands that "play" this piece do it ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTICE. Sorry, but you have to be B.A. to play this. My director is about to hand this out, but we are the current Texas 5A honor band, so I think we can handle it.
