@CalypsoNotch408 haha you obvioulsy havent watched a truely modded honda. that crx only ran 15s cuz it prob had very basic boltons. drop a k24 in that crx without boltons and it will run low to mid 11s straight up. throw boltons on that (kpro/i/im/rh/e) and then cam it and it will run 10s all day for less than the cost of that truck.
@420Shroomfiend420 Might cost less if you do all of the work yourself, but it wouldn't be as useful which means you get more for what you pay for. That duramax diesel or any diesel you can run at the strip and then pull a 10,000+ lb load right after. I do respect tuners if done right (just not ricers), but some people don't realize diesels have the low end TQ which helps with the heavy truck, especially the straight 6s like the Cummins.

@420Shroomfiend420 Actually trucks can handle a lot better than you think, unless it's lifted. My Silverado is stock suspension w/ the Z71 off-road suspension package so it's a little softer & big sidewall tires which helps hug corners. I've had my truck take a 25 limit off-ramp which was basically a complete circle (cloverleaf style) going about 80 & it had no problem. I have stock tires on it to. Only thing was I heard all 4 tires screaming. Stock for stock I think a truck could handle better.
@420Shroomfiend420 Point is I was still able to do that on a 4x4 full size truck on stock suspension. I also had cheap ass set of tires on it to lol. The screaming tires I think was th tires losing grip, so either it was the truck's suspension or my driving or maybe a combo. You get a 2wd truck and lower it with performance suspension they can handle just as good as a car that has the same stuff done to it. Then you can haul and tow something to lol. Fuck gas mileage by the way lol.

@CalypsoNotch408 haha you obvioulsy havent watched a truely modded honda. that crx only ran 15s cuz it prob had very basic boltons. drop a k24 in that crx without boltons and it will run low to mid 11s straight up. throw boltons on that (kpro/i/im/rh/e) and then cam it and it will run 10s all day for less than the cost of that truck.

@420Shroomfiend420 Might cost less if you do all of the work yourself, but it wouldn't be as useful which means you get more for what you pay for. That duramax diesel or any diesel you can run at the strip and then pull a 10,000+ lb load right after. I do respect tuners if done right (just not ricers), but some people don't realize diesels have the low end TQ which helps with the heavy truck, especially the straight 6s like the Cummins.

@SouthernGuy8503 yah, i dont respect ricers either. their the reason everyone thinks hondas are gay and fags. but theres plenty of clean and very fast hondas out there as well as anything else on the road. What you said about the truck being more useful is obviously true haha no one is towing anything in a honda. I just like the style of hondas and being low to the ground hugging the road in corners as opposed to towing and running straight lines. just my taste, to each his own.

@420Shroomfiend420 Actually trucks can handle a lot better than you think, unless it's lifted. My Silverado is stock suspension w/ the Z71 off-road suspension package so it's a little softer & big sidewall tires which helps hug corners. I've had my truck take a 25 limit off-ramp which was basically a complete circle (cloverleaf style) going about 80 & it had no problem. I have stock tires on it to. Only thing was I heard all 4 tires screaming. Stock for stock I think a truck could handle better.

@420Shroomfiend420 Point is I was still able to do that on a 4x4 full size truck on stock suspension. I also had cheap ass set of tires on it to lol. The screaming tires I think was th tires losing grip, so either it was the truck's suspension or my driving or maybe a combo. You get a 2wd truck and lower it with performance suspension they can handle just as good as a car that has the same stuff done to it. Then you can haul and tow something to lol. Fuck gas mileage by the way lol.

@SouthernGuy8503 yah hahah mpg is one benefit of 4 bangers. and you do have a good point about lowering a truck and getting good handleing haha. i would love to have a truck along with my rsx but im in college and 2 cars is out of my budget and not nessisary haha but i will prob have some sort of truck wen im older but i will always have a honda haha its just my taste. but wen it all comes down to it im all about having a real clean and mint looking car over a super fast one

@Gidenkidenk if i could reduce the weight it would run a lot faster. its weighs a lot. and its got 240 hp at 5,400 rpms. which is pretty decent for a 3.8L v6. my 5.2L v8 has 230 hp.
