Do you know the statistics of how many CHRISTIANS read their Bible let alone anyone outside of the faith? You have to walk before you can run. I have ALOT to learn, no doubt, but I've read the Bible from cover to cover probably about 15 times now in my short life and one lesson I've learned is that truly "my people parish for lack of knowledge". GOD willing reading will lead to study...please look beyond your nose, it's obvious study is needed but you have to open the book first.

Do you know the statistics of how many CHRISTIANS read their Bible let alone anyone outside of the faith? You have to walk before you can run. I have ALOT to learn, no doubt, but I've read the Bible from cover to cover probably about 15 times now in my short life and one lesson I've learned is that truly "my people parish for lack of knowledge". GOD willing reading will lead to study...please look beyond your nose, it's obvious study is needed but you have to open the book first.

@heatice77 They know that they are not and never will be welcome and that people will judge them. So the main problem is the church and Christians. We are designed by God, and he designed us to make him the center of our life and we have a place in out heart that is reserved for him. Now if God is missing and we do not have him in our lives there is going to be an empty spot you and you are going to try to fill that emptiness with things like drugs, and alcohol, or whatever the case may be.

@heatice77 So The problem starts with the church and the way people are being treated by the church when they have it all wrong. As a youth minister I do not tell any of my teens or even the adults when I give a sermon for the adults that they are doing anything wrong. It is not my job to judge people. I am going to leave that up to God. When I preach or teach I tell people things they can to improve their lives and never will I ever give a sermon if I do not know the subject at hand very well.

@heatice77 I have sent you a link to a website, it should be in your inbox. Now lets start with the old testament. The Bible we read is a translation from Hebrew.... That was the language most of the Authors wrote in.... Now if you would look us the Definition of "ABOMINATION" in Hebrew you would find that the word is "To'ebah" and this means "Not of the cultural norm, or Taboo" It does not mean sinful or God's going to send a homosexual to hell.

Lets start with Romans 1:21,26.27 if you read Romans 1:18-32 you will get the big picture and God is not just talking about Homosexuality but he is also talking about Heterosexuals as well. Now close examination of this scripture will tell us that Homosexuality to Paul (the Author of Roman) was a part of pagan worship.. The passage in Romans is not condemning anything it is stating the God gave the pagans up to their ways
