How could you possibly compare the influence of PBR and NPR, both of which are struggling government programs that have been significantly financially raped by every president since Reagan, to Fox News?! Fox News is a multinational media corporation. It reaps billions of profits every year, and each member of it's board is a millionaire. NPR workers are paid to produce news, Fox News workers are paid...to make more money. They are not an unbiased news organization.
Just look at that sissy-boy lib sitting there like he has a broomstick up his buttocks as he blabs on while eating that free food!
Note to Conservative parents: Do your children a BIG favor and use this video as a teachable moment to point-out what's going on all over in this country with liberals getting into positions of power and then stabbing the country in the back! If you don't take the time to do this, then you're setting your kids up to be indoctrinated by these filthy pigs! JUST DO IT!
Nothing to do with David Letterman etc....Sarah Palin is a 3rd rate politician & certainly not a potential leader of the worlds only super power...anyone who would think she is capable of dealing with the Chinese leadership who will be the next super power would have their head examined...Sarah Palin thought herself qualified to deal with ex KBG Russian leader Putin because she is involved in sending fish to Russia & that Alaska is in close proximity to Russia!....The woman is insane!
I think it's hilarious that there is now a backlash of liberal institutions having their secret inner thoughts spread all over television, showing the bias that drives all their decisions.
Conservatives have to watch it though. This might only lead to a backlash of liberal undercover videos of the same nature, exposing the inward secret workings of conservatism.
I think it's a shame that we all have to walk around with a fear of speaking freely, for fear of being exposed on nightly news.
@ImagesByDavid She's too polarizing (even among conservatives) for my taste. However, if she is elected, she has plenty of executive experience. If you listen to David Letterman and the rest of the entertainment industry, you might not like her, but then again, they are paid to entertain, not to make you actually use your mind.
NPR's standards and objectives are clear: if nearly two million dollars from George Soros is good, then five million dollars from the Muslim Brotherhood is even better!
Fucking liberals...It's totally rational to say that the Tea Party is dangerous because a few "racist" individuals in a group PEACEFULLY protest for lower taxes, however it is IGNORANT to be "Islamaphobic," or scared of muslims, even though muslims have an extremley LONG and GROWING record of blowing things up and murdering people for religious reasons. How do they not see how insane that is?
@photolitherland Overall Socialists and Communists decide what guns one can own, what tobacoo you can smoke where or even if you can smoke. What health insurance you will have how much of your money earned money you can keep, create programs to pit races against each other, model unions to create strife between workers and business causing jobs to go over seas and the forcing workers to collect and be bitches of the state.
@SanctioFides You forgot to mention that liberals also: tell people what they can say, what they can't say, who they can say things to, who they can't say things to, what's offensive, they redefine racism as something only white people are capable of, who deserves money, who doesn't deserve money, what to listen to, what not to listen to, and they love to come up with schemes like global warming. They also love to act like arrogant, pseudo-intellectual cunts when telling people things.
Again, Fox News is spinning here...in the FULL tape, the executive prefaces that comment by saying that he is "not speaking with his NPR hat" but "as an individual." And is there not considerable evidence in print and on video that a segment of the Tea Party--not all--is racist and Islamophobic? And why the strategy of using a Islamic organization to meet with NPR, if not to excite Islamophobic tendencies on the Right and dismiss NPR as "unAmerican"?
@photolitherland Uhm no because he shows that you are the racist fucks who have to create class warfare to gain power by robbing individual freedom through lies on radio:-)
Schiller is the perfect poster boy for the Democrats....An ignorant, Jew-baiting, stereotyping and disingenuous head of NPR. Getting rid of him is a mistake. He doesn't want the 90 million and we don't want him to have it. This guy's particular kind of stupidity is hard to find.

@gone42 I must have missed something. Schiller believes Jew-baiting, stereotyping, and receiving money from a Muslim Brotherhood front group thinks conservative Christians are racist? This guy is the perfect poster boy for left-wing extremism. Ignorant and arrogant. He does have a point about not wanting to take 90 million dollars of our money every year to promote the Democrats agenda. I hope he stays at NPR. This kind of stupidity is hard to find.
This is still a democracy. Nobody's happy about every place their tax dollars go. I want my tax dollars to go to NPR. "Conservatives" took this country from surplus to near depression. Real conservatives should quit supporting the elites who are killing the middle class and the American Dream. Our soldiers fight for our way of life (things like free speech) and the gutless wonders at Fox again have to promote hysteria to serve their corporate masters. Ron Schiller did nothing wrong.
What I'd like to know is why everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that someone sent in fake Muslim spies with hidden cameras and a fake 5 million dollar check to purposely bring down a radio station. Dude went to a LOT of effort here...NPR must have bullied him as a child or something.
Whats the big deal, he's right. The fox news bimbo looks like she's about to cry when she says "slamming conservatives".
The tea baggers are and always will be a bunch of crazy buck toothed racist rednecks with less culture than this morning's yogurt. The sooner Fox and all the other phucktard right wing scumbags come to term with their racist, ignorant bullshit, the better we'll all be.
I was being facetious. Fact of the matter is, it is folly to assume that stereotypes (on both the left and right) don't exist.

Its sad when low income, angry, patriotic American workers defend the very ones who are keeping them over a barrel.
Weird, cuz we all know that almost none of the Tea Party people are racist, anti-intellectual, or have firearms. That is a total misrepresentation!
We all know that the Tea Party is GREATLY involved in promoting multiculturalism, many have PhD's from top universities, and are involved in promoting reasonable gun control.
Jeeze. This is ridiculous. Stop the lies from NPR!!!
It gets old hearing liberals complain about conservative media.
Do liberals realize that conservatives do not have taxpayer-funded media?
That's right. There is no tax money going to support conservative media. The only media supported by tax dollars is liberal media.
So I don't know what liberals have to complain about.
Not only do they have state tv (PBS) and government radio (NPR), they also have CNN, NBC/MSNBC, ABC, CBS, the rest of the media (less Fox) and the school system.
I throw in the school system to demonstrate that children are receiving liberal-slanted news-information in the school system much as the adults receive news-information through the media outlets, was not saying that the school system is a media outlet, lest some liberal comment that I'm a stupid toothless sister-marrying gun-toting moron.
I don't even own a gun, nor do I even have sisters. So there.
Some people in the Tea Party are extremists. Some do misuse the name of God.
You should put "some" or "some of" at the beginning of your sentence.
But you are right.
But if extremism and misusing the name of God were the only criteria to justify Ron Schiller's comments, why did he purposely exclude Jeremiah Wright and Louis Ffaarraakkhhann from the comments? Did he forget to say that part? I mean, we are talking about extremism and taking God's name in vain, are we not?
I think that there is definitely a racist element to the Tea Party. Are all Tea Party members racist? Absolutely not.
And even if that is his opinion, when doing business for NPR Schiller has no business voicing it. I personally didn't think Juan Williams' comment was appropriate, and I don't think Schiller's was either.
I don't have a problem with Juan Williams' comment, nor with Ron Schiller's comment. People have the right to their own opinions, do they not? But on the other hand, just like people have the right to their own opinions, the public likewise has the right to know about institutional bias within a news organization.
It's just like when the Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed of Bush.
They had the right to say what they said.
And people have the right not to buy their records.
@IImitateVince Yes, they have every right to say what they want. I just don't think that it was wise for them to make the statements they did. And NPR has every right to fire them for not reflecting the values of the station (one of which is RESPECTFULLY voicing opinions. Not bashing others.)
No, it's NOT just like the Dixie Chicks , Dumbass
NPR is supposed to be non-biased---Schiller is representing them---and NPR takes government money so they can't be biased------God almighty you are stupid
You should correct your spelling error of "reduntant" to "redundant", because liberals seize on any misspellings or typographical errors to try to make the person look like a total idiot. Liberals think that if they can magnify a person's speaking or writing errors, they can then discredit that person's arguments. It works with liberals but not with thinking people.
They tried to make Dan Quayle look stupid ("potatoe"), they tried to make George W. Bush look stupid, etc.
He said, "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."
It's hilarious how the liberals ridiculed both Reagan and Bush all eight of their respective years in office, but ultimately, Reagan and Bush got basically everything accomplished that they wanted done. So who really is laughing?
Maybe the sign that a person is a threat (by being a conservative success) is the fact that they are getting greatly ridiculed.
Whoever liberals ridicule most - that's who we should support as our conservative candidate. They tip their hat by who they ridicule
Oh yeah, and whatever candidate the terrorist regimes want in office - don't vote for that person. I don't understand why a person would vote for someone the terrorists want in office. That tells me 9/11 meant nothing to some people in this country. DAMN, if a terrorist wants someone in the White House, RUN THE HELL THE OTHER WAY, FOR GOD'S SAKE.
@chaoslloyd1 ...the man with the gun, did he have a badge? More over, was he trying to oppress you with it? or was it the fact that he merely had a gun? Hoplophobic? The guys with the buttons and the pens scare me more!
You said it. Since when it is "appalling" to tell the truth. Fox you need to shut up. It's about time somebody spoke up. NPR back your man up. Go dfreman2003!!
@shooterca51 I think you're confused about the meaning of the word archetypal. Unless, of course, the de la Rocha look is a typical one for legislators these days.
@chaoslloyd1 I think "we" can agree that the same ignorance of other people and cultures which gives way to racial or religious prejudice is the same ignorance which gives way to your emotions regarding people and ideas you do not understand. Instead of being "scared" of someone why don't you try to engage that person in a conversation. I'll bet that person wearing a "Beck 2012" would be happy to talk with you; conceal and carry permit notwithstanding...
Everything Ron Schiller said IS TRUE, I don't see what's the big fuss about. Furthermore, all the Teabaggers, FOX "News", Koch Brothers and the rest of today's Right Wing Cons are FASCIST. Look up Fascism: "a marriage of Big Corporations and the Government." Get it?
@ScoobyBrew66 what part of "a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition" didn't you understand? Look it up... next time don't wikiwannabe. I know this means actually opening a real book but, sometimes you should really educate yourselves with factual information.
@ScoobyBrew66 In as far as Ron Schiller speaking the truth: Absolutely not! All middle class Americans are not gun toting, evangelical, racist, xenophobic freaks. I am middle class. Although I am religious, I don't tout the bible at every whim. I hunt. Therefore, I own guns. I am all about cultural diversity. Most of my neighbors feel the same way as I do. If you wish to expel social labels, the least you could do is think about it first...
@ScoobyBrew66 for example, look at the middle east. Not only are they (by true definition) Xenophobic, they are racist, religiously oppressive, and by golly, they're killing, raping and robbing each other and demanding that our country follow in their footsteps. Follow who you want. I just choose to openly step around a dog turd and try to warn others about said turd.
@dfyreman2003 yeah, i don't think anyone will argue that extremist tea baggers and extremist middle easterners are different. just the other day tea baggers were protesting a muslim women shelter benefit, telling muslims born in california to GO HOME GO HOME GO HOME. the republican party has been hijacked by those wackos just like the image of muslims has been hijacked by terrorist wackos. one in the same
@wazoltoff I didn't catch that on the news but, as you say... I would oppose the public funding of a Muslim women shelter, not the shelter itself though. As far telling Muslims "Go home" I would say "Where should a Muslim go home to? It's preposterous! Like telling a Christian or a Jew go home." It's a religion, not a nationality. So where do we tell Atheists to go? (j/k)... While I agree that there are too many corrupt politicians to count, I still believe in Democracy...
1. There are more left-leaning people in the U.S. than right-leaning. That makes us a center-left country.
2. Right-leaning people simply vote more. That's why they can win general elections.
Your baseless fears about Barack Obama are laughable. Do you know what socialist means? We already have "socialist" institutions like the military, national parks, post office, police, fire departments, public schools. Are you against our troops, police or teachers?
@blitteral The military, national parks, post office, police, fire departments and public schools are taking your money and distributing it equally among everyone? How so? A socialist government is based on a reduction or elimination of hierarchical and bureaucratic forms of administration and governance. Or were you thinking about our government in it's Hierarchical form? Or maybe you were thinking about the bureaucratic control that we are faced with today...
@blitteral Maybe, like so many of your "intellectual" cohorts, you are actually striving for total anarchy. No more government, no cops, no teachers, no firefighters, no postal workers, no national parks... then again, you need to realize that without all that you get no rules, no justice, no education, no home (it burned down), no holiday greeting cards and no camping trips. Wouldn't that be nice?!
Let's not forget that this was a fund raising event and he was there as an NPR official. Like many on the left, he was bending wherever the money was coming from. As a middle class, red neck, gun toting evangelist , I am offended by his remark that I am a racist. Republicans aren't republicans anymore?! What are they? This guy even slams tea partiers then has the audacity to say the government should stop wasting money on losers like him.
Juan Williams was a *news analyst*. He has to maintain the appearance of being unbiased in order to be credible in his job. He was repeatedly warned about not using the NPR name when he was doing non-NPR work as well.
I'm not defending Schiller's remarks. To me they're repugnant and he should have been fired (as he has been). But it's wrong to paint all of NPR with the same brush because one jackass decides to shoot his mouth off about his personal opinions.
We all know these elitist snobs talk like this when they think they are amongst their own. The lesson from all of this? LIBERALS LIE. THEY LIE OFTEN. THEY LIE WITH EASE. If they told the truth, they would never be elected nor get any federal funding. HEY NPR, IF YOU DON'T NEED THE MONEY, STOP TAKING IT, SCUMBAGS ! O'Keefe is the man !
Just because they receive federal funding doesn't mean that they can't have political opinions, But they cannot support a political *party*. Reality has a well-known liberal bias. NPR just reflects reality.
@blitteral Bull! They fired Juan for "political opinion". You are correct in that he can have a political opinion yet, you're ignorant to the fact that this was a fund raising event. The fact that he bends this far left only supports Tea party agenda.
@Kropotkin2000 no...Man working for an allegedly unbiased public radio fired for expressing one sided, unreasonable and invalid personal opinions over a dinner table.
national PUBLIC radio, national PUBLIC broadcasting cares a little more about delivering the truth to the PUBLIC, than pay per view ,like every other organization that gets paid or makes a profit is subceptible to lies and corruption...we should be very careful about limiting organizations such a NPR for, small imperfections. Why aren't the republican a tea parties a virtual rainbow?

Why aren't the republican a tea parties a virtual rainbow???
Did I hear the man tell a lie, omit a truth, deny the largely public speculation regarding the republicans, tea party, juan williams, or mainstream media? The truth hurts and people rarely hear it anymore. I've no problem with my tax dollars going to NPR, as opposed to tax breaks for, those who don't need it, they're the dinosaurs of what's left of decent reporting, I'd rather forgive this man his opinion than be stuck with news where people lose... This man doesn't represent the whole of NPR.
Was any body giving a thumbs up on aol for people who didn't see the lie in Ron Schiller opinion and the count gave them a negative for the positive support of their comments..or do I misunderstand what a thumbs up means. Is AOL Manipulating opinion if you had this same experience or any other please let me know...so I can stop wasting my key strokes at their comment sites.
NPR has been a left wing organization for years. This just brings out the mentality of the management of the station. I'm all for defunding these people along with PBS who simply don't need to be bought off by the US government liberals. They make enough money to make it on their own. Juan Williams slandered again by NPR and hopefully he'll sue their ratty butts for defamation of character.
O'Keefe doesn't even need to work at it anymore. The left is so corrupt that simply getting a meeting with any of them will yield similar results. Notice he left the timeline counter on the tape so nobody could say the film was doctored??? So if you think it's spun, it isn't. Typical extreme leftist calling anyone not sharing his radical views is a racist. What a nimrod.
Anyone who has a brain and has ever listened to NPR knows they lean to the left on most everything and their journalism is liberally biased. Why should tax payers' money go to an organization that does not equally represent both sides? It shouldn't.
Conservative media report slanted as usual by FoxNews. Schiller's personal views reflect the truth and are refreshing. Typical right wing conservatives: they can't stand being identified for what they stand for.
@nmmacleod MORON! These left wing things could rape and murder the children of fools like you and you would still find a way to defend them. Your are a sick sick person.
@leestauf You're an old man with no sense. You've either been drinking too much all your life or you are just ignorant. Or probably both. You truly are a MORON! YOU sir are the RACIST. You just don't lie the fact that Juan Williams is black. You're old enough to have been an active KKK member. If not.....you surely are a RACIST BIGOT!.
@BorakOBummer Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough for you. I don't like NPR and I was saying the LEFTYS would defend NPR and it elitist fools no matter what they did. Now that being said. Try to defend our side with a little more logic and sound argument. Stop just calling people names like the left does.
@BorakOBummer Sorry.....I meant this for nmmacleod. Selected the wrong comment. Though I did use your same term. You called him a sick sick MORON and I called him a Racist MORON. Both right!

But on the other hand, just like people have the right to their own opinions, the public likewise has the right to know about institutional bias within a news organization.
It's just like when the Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed of Bush.
They had the right to say what they said.
And people have the right not to buy their records.
IImitateVince 1 year ago
@IImitateVince Yes, they have every right to say what they want. I just don't think that it was wise for them to make the statements they did. And NPR has every right to fire them for not reflecting the values of the station (one of which is RESPECTFULLY voicing opinions. Not bashing others.)

Calling a liberal stupid..is reduntant.
If they were REALLY smart..they wouldn't be liberal.

@livfreeordi
And calling conservatives stupid is an insult to stupid people everywhere.
ptownd1983 1 year ago
@livfreeordi
IImitateVince 11 months ago
@livfreeordi
You should read up on Saul Alinsky.
He said, "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."
IImitateVince 11 months ago
It's hilarious how the liberals ridiculed both Reagan and Bush all eight of their respective years in office, but ultimately, Reagan and Bush got basically everything accomplished that they wanted done. So who really is laughing?
Maybe the sign that a person is a threat (by being a conservative success) is the fact that they are getting greatly ridiculed.
Whoever liberals ridicule most - that's who we should support as our conservative candidate. They tip their hat by who they ridicule
IImitateVince 11 months ago
Oh yeah, and whatever candidate the terrorist regimes want in office - don't vote for that person. I don't understand why a person would vote for someone the terrorists want in office. That tells me 9/11 meant nothing to some people in this country. DAMN, if a terrorist wants someone in the White House, RUN THE HELL THE OTHER WAY, FOR GOD'S SAKE.

ScoobyBrew66 1 year ago
@ScoobyBrew66 what part of "a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition" didn't you understand? Look it up... next time don't wikiwannabe. I know this means actually opening a real book but, sometimes you should really educate yourselves with factual information.
dfyreman2003 1 year ago
@ScoobyBrew66 In as far as Ron Schiller speaking the truth: Absolutely not! All middle class Americans are not gun toting, evangelical, racist, xenophobic freaks. I am middle class. Although I am religious, I don't tout the bible at every whim. I hunt. Therefore, I own guns. I am all about cultural diversity. Most of my neighbors feel the same way as I do. If you wish to expel social labels, the least you could do is think about it first...
dfyreman2003 1 year ago
@ScoobyBrew66 for example, look at the middle east. Not only are they (by true definition) Xenophobic, they are racist, religiously oppressive, and by golly, they're killing, raping and robbing each other and demanding that our country follow in their footsteps. Follow who you want. I just choose to openly step around a dog turd and try to warn others about said turd.
dfyreman2003 1 year ago
@dfyreman2003 yeah, i don't think anyone will argue that extremist tea baggers and extremist middle easterners are different. just the other day tea baggers were protesting a muslim women shelter benefit, telling muslims born in california to GO HOME GO HOME GO HOME. the republican party has been hijacked by those wackos just like the image of muslims has been hijacked by terrorist wackos. one in the same
wazoltoff 1 year ago
@wazoltoff I didn't catch that on the news but, as you say... I would oppose the public funding of a Muslim women shelter, not the shelter itself though. As far telling Muslims "Go home" I would say "Where should a Muslim go home to? It's preposterous! Like telling a Christian or a Jew go home." It's a religion, not a nationality. So where do we tell Atheists to go? (j/k)... While I agree that there are too many corrupt politicians to count, I still believe in Democracy...
dfyreman2003 1 year ago
@wazoltoff the Democracy where all the votes count and presidents and politicians were held accountable for their actions.

1. That doesn't change the fact that they're "socialist" institutions. I accept your surrender. Now you've changed to a constitutional argument.
2. My condolences on the challenges you're facing in life.
If you think that either party has all the answers, you've lost.
blitteral 1 year ago
@shooterca51
Learn your facts:
Are you against our troops, police or teachers?
blitteral 1 year ago
@blitteral The military, national parks, post office, police, fire departments and public schools are taking your money and distributing it equally among everyone? How so? A socialist government is based on a reduction or elimination of hierarchical and bureaucratic forms of administration and governance. Or were you thinking about our government in it's Hierarchical form? Or maybe you were thinking about the bureaucratic control that we are faced with today...
dfyreman2003 1 year ago 2
@blitteral Maybe, like so many of your "intellectual" cohorts, you are actually striving for total anarchy. No more government, no cops, no teachers, no firefighters, no postal workers, no national parks... then again, you need to realize that without all that you get no rules, no justice, no education, no home (it burned down), no holiday greeting cards and no camping trips. Wouldn't that be nice?!
dfyreman2003 1 year ago
Let's not forget that this was a fund raising event and he was there as an NPR official. Like many on the left, he was bending wherever the money was coming from. As a middle class, red neck, gun toting evangelist , I am offended by his remark that I am a racist. Republicans aren't republicans anymore?! What are they? This guy even slams tea partiers then has the audacity to say the government should stop wasting money on losers like him.
dfyreman2003 1 year ago
#Rehash
Juan Williams was a *news analyst*. He has to maintain the appearance of being unbiased in order to be credible in his job. He was repeatedly warned about not using the NPR name when he was doing non-NPR work as well.
I'm not defending Schiller's remarks. To me they're repugnant and he should have been fired (as he has been). But it's wrong to paint all of NPR with the same brush because one jackass decides to shoot his mouth off about his personal opinions.
blitteral 1 year ago
This wasn't a "fundraising event". NPR *declined* the $5 million check.
You seem to confuse having a political opinion with supporting a political party. We still have freedom of speech in this country.
blitteral 1 year ago
We all know these elitist snobs talk like this when they think they are amongst their own. The lesson from all of this? LIBERALS LIE. THEY LIE OFTEN. THEY LIE WITH EASE. If they told the truth, they would never be elected nor get any federal funding. HEY NPR, IF YOU DON'T NEED THE MONEY, STOP TAKING IT, SCUMBAGS ! O'Keefe is the man !
jamo387 1 year ago
Just because they receive federal funding doesn't mean that they can't have political opinions, But they cannot support a political *party*. Reality has a well-known liberal bias. NPR just reflects reality.
blitteral 1 year ago
@blitteral Bull! They fired Juan for "political opinion". You are correct in that he can have a political opinion yet, you're ignorant to the fact that this was a fund raising event. The fact that he bends this far left only supports Tea party agenda.
