The Film is shit, but I admit the trailer is very good. The reason the trailer is so good is because MC G was orginally a music video director and treated the trailer like it was one. I'm making a prediction that they'll discover a production factory full of Arnie Terminators before the end of the movie. Just rows and rows of Arnies, which will tie it all to the earlier movies. I saw it and I thought it was pretty good actually. Everyone seems to be complaining about how John Connor isn't the prophesied leader of the resistance yet, but that's because it takes place before that. Kyle Reese is just a teenager, and the movie does a great job of making a new idea feel like the old Terminator. I give it an 8/10.

The reason they don't have laser weapons and such is cuz this isn't the same future that was set up in the previous movies. Even if it was, they just may not have developed them yet since I'm pretty sure the future wars shown in the previous movies took place in the early 2020's. I like the part "forget the past".
