I like the song voice of Khaa, in exspecally the "Treystu mér". It´s nice with his "sss" sound.

To a grammatical note: I know that Icelandic (like Hebrew) does distinguish between men and women in dialogs.

So ... does Mowgli speak to Kaa as if to a man or to a woman?

It's hard to tell cause the verbs or the word 'you' doesn't really change. It's more like adjectives which change. I don't remember if Mowgli used any adjectives while talking to or about Kaa so I really don't know.

however, when she is talking to sheer khan she talks about herself by saying "sjálfa mig". if she were male she would say "sjálfan mig" instead.

Ah! I was just watching this randomly one day and I noticed something. After Kaa says 'Þú treystir mér ekki?', why does Mogli answer 'nei'? Shouldn't it be 'jú' or something? It didn't sound right to me for some reason. :P

It isn't complicated at all ^^ Kaa asks: "You don't trust me?" And then Mogli simply answers: "No" as in "No, I do not trust you." If he would say "Jú" Then he would be saying: "Yes, I do trust you" Which he doesn't :P Who trusts that perv? ^^

Well, Kaa is always described as fully untrustworthy. But she has indeed a little sort of affection towards Mowgli; remember she even lies at Khan so that he doesn't take Mowgli away into an undeterminable destiny!

Kaa wants to have Mowgli as her personal property, which makes her a bit egocentrical, but neither brutal nor malicious ...
