  • Twin Peaks. whut.

  • Interesting that some critics paned this album that it was "over" that the Stones now stand for nothing? Say what? For me, Blac and Blue, Emotional Rescue, Some Girls, and Tattoo You is some of their best work and albums that I not only played over and over but learned many of the songs on guitar. Great stuff.

  • the best ever!!!!!!!!1

  • @hambestone I agree, I can listen to this song over and over.

  • Mick can't sing, but he's one of the best fucking singers in rock n roll.

  • @kbrace11 isn't this what steven tyler said about this song in his rolling stone playlist?

  • @crlnewlls yup i just wanted to see who would point it out lol

  • WHY id Lennon in the pic???????

  • we'll always have montauk and the memory motel :-=)

  • i live in same town as memory motel

  • One of my favorite Rolling Stone songs. The Stones are always known for their tough stuff. But it was some of their ballads and slower songs that were their best material.

  • RS lacked production

Click on a Beatles song and HEAR the difference!

  • Did Mick Jagger ever fall on stage?

  • This song remindes me of a girl who left me years ago. Replace "Boston" with "Utha". I've never been back to that Memory Motel sence.

  • My life is crumbling all around me but the last 7 1/2 minutes I didn't know it.Thank you Mick and Keith for writing something good enough to do that.

  • @smithsmithdt Hang in there. My life has crumbled a few times. The good news is that I've become very good at starting over. The music of the Rolling Stones has been the soundtrack for all of it; the good, the bad, and the ugiy.

  • stones r the only group to get close to zeppelin again hit after hit way to go mick

  • I stayed at that Motel in the mid 70's...same year the Lighthouse (owned by Peter Beard and Cheryl Tiegs at the time...) burned (uninsured too) I remember laying on the beach, and two Horse back Riders Galloped by in the surf...it was magic, and that's my memory from that motel...Oh, and it was with my wife at the time...that part i can forget about... Great song though

  • This song is about 35 years old and it gets better every day!

  • he taking about the time he was on long island in montauk ny in the 70s with andy and he was at that motel

  • Really good job my, no wrinkles no dust, you got it my!

  • cool song. i like the video interpretation of it ok. it makes you wonder if mick was talking about one long lost love, a bunch of different girls, KEITH(?), or maybe himself in a skirt. whoever it/they were, he was straight up saying goodbye in a very real way. very good work, all of ya'll! keep it up! now do "monkey man". lol

  • Eu iube astea muzica disde tempul meu de tinerete, in 1976 pe 1977...

You have copy this vid from 'candyfromstranger' and

after his channel were blocked you present his work as your

    work.

    I call that parasitic!

  • @glubsch222 thank you for your comment and thank you ilikephilly for not deleting it.

Please credit the originator of this video if it is NOT you, this took insight, creativity, patience and talent to put together.

  • @glubsch222 I'm ordering the cd now since you jogged my memory.

  • Love to see when they perform to local audiences , I was @ Fleet Center in Boston and this got a fantastic response . It would've got a standing "O: from me if they played it anywhere !!

  • I'm from Baton Rouge where I first saw them; June 1st 1975 - as they kicked off their N.American Tour. Why do they omit Baton Rouge from the live versions - is it

because the album came out in 1976 so - it was made up for the record ? Just curious ??
