  • what? she understands german? she speaks german??

  • Haha,

"if you're from Africa... then why are you white?"

  • i'm from austria and behati does not even exist in german language. behati means "segen" in german.

by the way, i love that girl (:

  • @TheHeavyCross She was right about its meaning but her name is actually English, well specifically the Afrikaans version of Beatrice, which means "blessed; she who brings happiness." It's interesting that she fucked that up considering the British are the ones responsible for her even being from Africa. LoL

  • en una version mas sofisticada ....

  • she is like kate moss...

  • ugh! i love this girl!

  • behati is beyond perfection!

  • uhm, if you're from africa, how come you're white?

  • @AliiiceeO wow really?

  • @AliiiceeO wtf this gotta be a joke!

  • @rentonrentz Yes, it is a joke duh. It's from Mean Girls. Check it out.

  • @freerxns HAAHAHAHAH TRUE!!!!!!!!!!! I totally missed it out. my fault. lol

  • @rentonrentz Haha it was a really funny movie (:

  • shes my favourite VS model... she's so like bubbly and stuff in the shows!

  • she's definitely the most 'real' girl out of all the VS models. I feel like she's more beautiful than the others because she has the most personality.

  • she looks just like ginny from harry potter !

  • omg she looks just like bonnie wright (the girl who plays ginny in the harry potter movies) !

  • Jens Lekman is the shit

  • don't know what she's talking about but I'm german and behati does not mean blessing !

  • @ChuloChico69 I think she's probably confused. 'Behati' is, I believe, the Afrikaans version of 'Beate', which is a version of 'Beatus' in Latin which means 'blessed; one who brings happiness'. but Beate has been translated to 'Beatrice' which is often used in many languages, such as English, French, as well as German.

  • what a big face!

  • i love love loveeeee her

  • She's clueless. She's probably referring to the word "Bahati" (not her name "Behati") which means fortune, luck, and possibly blessing in the same context. It's a word from the Swahili language, not German, although it's incorporated a few German words in it, still. Funny because she's not even from a country where Swahili is spoken. Guess that's what you get when you believe the story your parents told you about your made up name.

She looks good, very ordinary, but good. Not VS material thou.

  • @vadiazinhagenteboa as stated before, I could just be guessing... but I think 'Behati' is probably a rendition of the modern-day 'Beatrice', used in many countries including German, which derives from 'Beate' in Latin, which does mean 'blessing/blessed'.

  • does anyone know where behati's boots are from? the ones at the very beginning?

  • Beate and Beata are German names, right?

    They mean blessed/blessing.

  • blessing in german means segen, i dunno what she is talking bout :D

  • I love her pretty smile.

  • Behati is so gorgeous. I love her. ;] <3

  • oh I just noticed she pronounces Behati like "Beate" which would be a german name actually. but who knows..whatever she's a cutie

  • behati doesn't mean anything in german... lol im from germany

  • lol

The most closer word in German are Behälter (tank in english) or behalten (to retain in english). told me if I'm mistaken.

I'm sure that she doesn't speak german either.

She's never go in Germany; maybe she's need to understand ;)

  • oh lol yeah.. what is she talking about?

    behati? def not german :D

  • I'm from Africa too :P

    I love you Behati

  • behati means what in german ??

    cant understand lol.

I love her docs.. i love dc martens .. hahaha

  • she says it means "blessing" in german.

  • nature calling...I've watched that video a few times, they were in Namibia, Africa she's with her bff Coco Rocha.

    I've seen the real Behati

    :]

  • please tell me :

Her parents are from Germanny ???

    My english is bad :-C

    sorry !!!

  • No, her name is German, and her parents are Afrikaan of German Descent.

  • @Tannimanni94 her parents are from Namibia, a southern country in Africa. I think she stated in another video that her parents' families all come from Namibia and South Africa. Germany did at one point in time, colonise Namibia. It was called "German South-West Africa". So in her family she could have a mix of Boer (Dutch descent) and German blood. But as far as I know, she only speaks English and Afrikaans. I find African countries have some of the most interesting histories in the world. <3

  • i really wanna know wat brand is tt boots she's wearing..

  • doc martens !! lol

  • ohman. just like 1 week ago i saw her in NYLON,

and in the issue of Teen Vogue too.

    thanks guy for interviewing her.

    shes freaking beautiful xD

  • she is adorable

  • i realy like her smile

  • love her
