This is my favorite video on You Tube. I lost my rat 4 months ago and I'm not over his passing. Such a small creature to have had such a profound impact. I never caged him. He was family and completely ran the household. Spoiled rotten little bugger but he gave back so much. I really miss him. Thanks for your video.

Thanks for the support. It's amazing even that however short their lives can make such a huge impact on the heart. All of these rats on this video have lived and passed, and yet they are still in my memories like it was yesterday (for some it's been about 3 years since their passing). Its hard, but how can you pass up another pet rat with the knowledge of knowing how much the best it becomes of you in return of his love. I have 2 boys now, I just hope I can give them as much love like they have.

Aww that was such a cute video. Love rats! I just got a baby blue female yesterday from work-my adult female albino rat isn't thrilled about it, LoL. I fell in love with rats when my 10th grade science teacher offered me one of her rat babies-she was an albino I named Jasper that lived almost 3 years until she got cancer.:( I think they are the best choice for a child's first pet or for someone who wants a small animal-they are intelligent, clean, and loving creatures who have a bad wrap.

I agree they're great pets. Since I live in an apt and in college, my rats are prefect - pretty much they have a personality of a dog and cat put together made into a smaller version.

Good luck with your new baby rattie, I bet eventually they both will get along ;)

i love rats, i had a really cute dumbo eared rat and i loved her to bits but the only thing that put me off them was the smell and the fact that they kept on pissing on everything when i got them out of the cage but i know i would get one again in the future

thanks, i created them myself...i used to work as a balloon twister but my boss didn't know how to make a rat so i put the stuff she taught me and my love for rats together - i'm very proud of them thanks again.

one of my ratties died, her name was called crystal,she had 16 kids! she was so cute, evertime i sat her on the lounge i said, crystal and she ran straght to me, R.I.P crystal
