  • Kinda sounds like he's trying to whistle the 12 days of Christmas.

  • HeadBANG!

  • wow its hard to get female cockatiels to whistle i bet thats a boy lmao

  • He's adorable x3

I got mine male cockatiel like a month ago,I hope I'll tame him like you did with millie.

He still runns away from me :(

  • Millie is adorable and a very good singer

  • How did you teach him how to sing?

I have a 20 year old cockatiel and wish to teach her how to sing.

Even though I just got her about 2 months ago xD

  • @nielr115, it's cause he hears another bird and he wants to be with the bird because it's his own species so he would go crazy trying to find the bird that he hears. My advice is to get another cockatiel prefferably female.

  • i like the part when millie sings

  • What a beautiful, healthy-looking bird!

  • my male goes crazy when he hears this video of your cockatiel any one know why

  • how can you tell it s a boy or girl?

  • @Penguins8174 because it has all the colors this one has and talks alot like this one does

  • Hello millie my name is millie too ;D

  • 1:10 to 1:20 shes like a broken record. haha. cute bird mine is just like that except he sings the adams family, the wolf whistle, the national anthem, and little random stuff. he can also say come here.

  • She? Hum this is an male!

  • My cockatiel Snoopy went nuts when he heard Millie singing! Thanks for sharing!

  • She is so happy and cute! Great vid!

  • yes!! It's definately a male, they are much prettier than females because that's how they attract them and because of the bright colours and bright yellow head.

  • You may be aware of this by now but that is not a female.

  • We bought millie from a pet shop and was told he was a she but we soon found out millie was a male. We still kept the name millie. We have now tought him the addams family tune i will get it on film and post it here for you all to see.

  • same thing happened to us... except we were told it Petey was a male. Then he/she started laying eggs like crazy... I think in two years about 30!!!

  • @srad750wt I had the same thing happen with my gecko. I called 'him' Gex, after the video-game, and thought he was male for the longest time. Then we thought he was female, so Gex eventually became a he-she since we never found out for sure and because everyone kept calling him/her a 'he' or 'she' depending on whatever slipped out lol.

  • i have a girl cockatiel Tillie! We should sort out some sort of online chat for them lol! =)

  • hey i want to ask something.. my cockatiel sing when i show him some white paper...its kinda wird. I want to ask you people this.. does your cockatiel olso do that, and why does it?

  • They sometimes like certain color or objects.

  • srad750wt,

That's very cute! I love cockatiels!

  • i had one that looked exactly like that it waz a boy it only have one foot cauz one got stuck in the mouse trap he called stumpy but my dad realeased him

  • Hi, as zabet says - that is a male cockatiel you have :) He's very handsome!

  • every time i say hi to my cokatiel it just does these annoying chirps can somebody explain to me how to tame him? i got him a week ago (he seems to like me) help!

  • um, if you just got him, then thats okay. just whistle little toons to him and he'll learn. unless, its a girl, cuz males are usually the ones who sing. it'll take a while for your bird to learn the songs but he'll get there eventually. i know cuz i have one.

  • Not trying to be rude but that's a male Cockatiel not a female.Just figured I'd tell you.He is a good singer and I see he's got a good home!

  • dats so cute my cockatiel doesn't even chirp

  • ::: anthony5672

dats so cute my cockatiel doesn't even chirp:::

If it doesn't chirp or sing, you have yourself a hen. Male cockatiels are the only ones that sing. Very rarely do female sing. If you think about it, most species of birds, male are the brightly colored ones and the ones who sing or whistle to attract females.

  • Actually, most parrots are NOT sexually dimorphic and need to be either DNA or surgically sexed. However, some species, like parakeets, cockatiels, and eclectus are. And also with many species, the female is the more vocal of the two.

  • lol nice :)

  • Haha AweSome

  • Hey dude, who's that smart bird with you?

Oh, and who's training who? ;D

  • Long Concert:)))))

    BravOOOO

  • nice voice millie
