I like the mod a lot. I just wonder why NERF does add air restrictors, I mean, why dumb down something awesome? I'm not sure I'm saying it right, but's it's kind of like they ruin it.

@LandKruezer actualy the air restrictor doesn't down the gun if it was built right, the air restrictor alows so much air through to send the dart flying (thats why if you only drill it out you wont get much more distance and people strech the spring) and then slows down the plunger and pervents it from slaming against other parts in the gun and wercking it, thats why when u drill it out you get that loud snap/crack nosie. and so it isnt always the best to drill it out..

@LandKruezer yes it does, i had a nite finder gun that wouldnt really shoot the darts if you wedged them in there really good, so i took it apart and tried to stretch the spring but the dam thing was tempered steel so i couldn't strech it out, so i stabed the air restrictor a few times (didnt have a drill near by) and managed to make a slighty larger hole in the thing but, i never completly destroyed it so makes that loud crack just enough for more air, put it back togather and it works great.

Oh, hey! Did you know that THAT was the reason the first recon was recalled? The plunger would grab people's cheeks and pull them into the gun! Good job at being so redundant that you actually make the gun dangerous to everyone! I'll bet that one day that stock is going to fly off and hit you in the jaw because of all those springs you put in it!

so to restrict the darts so they're not painful (thus "compatible" with many parents) and it helps increase the max lifespan of the toy

wel i know somone that dit mod his nerf gun but somthing went wrong the next day on school he wast there just lik the rest of the week AND NO HE WASNT DEAD he did somthing wrong een a part blow of the gun right in his i and now he´s blind on one side of his sight so PLS dont mod your gun and otherwise test it safe BY LET family do it :P its not cool to get blind at one eye because of an 30$/40€ toy gun that isnt funny after a whyle
