  • fantastic!

  • delight*`'

  • That kicked ass lol , im on my bro's accout lol but im his sis, and im just gonna say. you ROCKED that song, that was amazing, i loved it already, but the piano was awsome :)

  • yes

  • Very nice

  • cool!!!

  • I don't want to debate which version of this song was better because both Zeppelin's original version and Tool's cover were fantastic. I think this song might be better than "Stairway To Heaven."

  • @March3Yahoo Nothing is better than Stairway To Heaven.

  • foda!

  • wow this is a major disapointment i thought the download was for the sheet music wow this sucks

  • Nice vids, NICE SHIRT!

  • its john paul jones

  • beautiful <3. I love zep so much.

  • Totally brilliant.

  • you made me fall in love with this song all over again.

    amazing

  • amazeing cover. one of the best piano covers iv ever heard

  • i liked this a lot, you should have made it longer

  • BRAVO...

  • Beauty!

  • is he wearing a tool T shirt?

  • yeah i think so

  • that bastard!! lol

  • Yes and it's great! Here in italy i can't found any one

  • whoa my god that was good!

  • i could watch this all day, i like your cover better than tool's

  • if u done that on a pipe organ i'd really love it. i really fkn love this... omg

  • this is so awesome

  • no quarter is by far the greatest song out there. the way it touches me (not like a sick sedistic child molest touch, but like a reaching into the soul touch) is beyond words. tool did an amazing thing redoing no quarter, and made it into something even more. you gotta do this whole song dude, your fucking excellent, wish i could play piano like that.

  • my favorite part about the song is when the guitar and drums kick in

  • strange sound

  • cool

  • This sounds great, but it's a shame that it's so short! It'd be great if it were at least 5 minutes or so - I think the original is upwards of 6 or 7 minutes long?

  • the LEd Zep orig is like 4 minutes and some change the Tool version is over 7 minutes they are both amazing and great songs.

  • And of course the 20min+ live versions by Led Zeppelin should be listened to

  • The original Led Zeppelin studio version was 7 minutes, live versions were as long as 30 minutes or more (1975 and 77 tours).

If you only have a 4 minute Zeppelin version, you're missing out on a lot!

  • I'm not talking about the video. It's good. I'm replying to goomba76's comment:

"the LEd Zep orig is like 4 minutes and some change the Tool version is over 7 minutes they are both amazing and great songs."

Unfortunately, YouTube's comment system doesn't always make it clear if someone is commenting on the video or replying someone else's comment.

  • Ya Youtube kinda sucks in that, I bet 100% that it'll happen to my comment too and when people will read it, they'll say "Wtf? What is he talking about?"

    That happens all the time...

  • wow man you're awesome, subscribed.

  • that move you pulled off at 1:34, that was cool as hell! how'd you do that?

  • its just C# and B played back and forth real fast

  • amazingly good!

  • Spectacular performance! Of all the piano versions of this on youtube. I always come back to this one to listen too over and over again!!

  • Wow, that is absolutely stunning!

  • beautifully.. do someone knows when i can get a sheets? thx..............

  • thanks. i dont have any... maybe amazon or something

  • I tried to figure out the keyboard part to this song a while ago!

    Awesome job!

  • damn, that's awesome. way to go.

  • beautiful...do u know where i could get the sheet music?

  • you are truly awesome on the keys. im jealous...

    nice tool shirt

we would definitely get along way too well... we love all the same bands :P

  • thats so sweet... it would be interesting to see a recording of this with those phase effects J.P.J. uses... and a backing band... although ive yet to see a guitarist do jimmy page justice on youtube but still.

  • guitarists doing jimmy page justice try vanderbilly or jun626

  • Were you going to redo this one? No Quarter is the Moby Dick of piano as far as Zep songs go. Have you seen the Seattle 1977 version? It's amazing.

  • not anytime soon, maybe in the future if i get some time though..

nah never seen that one, ill look it up

  • ohhhh come on wheres the organ, thats the best part

  • There's no organ on No Quarter. On the album it was a Hohner electric piano and a grand piano on the solo, live it was either just a Rhodes electric piano with a phaser effect or Rhodes along with a grand piano or like in Knebworth '79, an electric grand. The organ seen on The Song Remains the Same movie is just a prop, just like Jonesy's wig.

  • congratulations

  • i would like to thank the acadamy

  • do you know the begining keyboard part

  • yep, i made this video a year ago though before i was doing entire songs like i am now

  • still it sounds really cool dude

  • yoyu know every part EXCEPT for the jpj keyboard part

  • Beautiful pianifyings. Awesomes TiShirt.

  • I know this is probably pointless to ask, but I've just recently started teaching myself piano, and I was wondering if you had sheet music for this song or any other Zeppelin songs that you could send me. It would be much appreciated, but if not, I understand.

  • hey, thanks, but sorry no sheet music :/

  • man, very nice..just like John Paul...

  • thank god, i was hoping so much that you'd do no quarter, i started teaching my self piano a few months ago, and i figured out most of the song by my self, but i really wanna look in to classical lessons once the school year ends, i need a refresher on sheet music too, i'm i drummer, so drum sheet music is easy to read. i can read piano music, but it takes a while, sight reading is certainly a nightmare. anyways, keep up the good work, i love how all your covers are songs from my favorite bands.

  • thanks, good luck with the piano

  • awesome!

  • do achilles last stand, that would be amazing

  • haha

  • Freakin' awesome man!

  • Now this is the kind of serious investigation of music the people should expect. Thanks for the beauty.

  • simply amazing, this is one of the best vids i have ever seen on youtube. no quarter is my favorite song of all time

  • wow, this dude is awesome

  • Another great vid by you :D

Wish I could see you play any of Uriah Heep songs ... like july morning or I close my eyes...

    Once again...wonderful playing :D

  • Woah.. I usually yawn when I hear a piano, but that was amazing, any chance we can hear you play it a little longer?

  • GET yourself to a Huge Chapel Organ!!! dress yourself in period style stage coach outfit and play an extended version of this song, video it in top quality and GET it on here ASAP! failing that just redo it but a nice long version and repost please...

  • Wearing a fucking TOOL shirt

    Hells Yea...

  • More more more!!! More songs!! Please!!!

  • Any chance of posting a longer version of this, its just soooooo good.

  • Love It

  • hey can you tell me how i can get the music/notes for this song? please comment if you know where you got them

  • you can find nything online

  • Im sure this cover has its critics but its done its job for me, it took me to a place I need to be closer too Im sure of it, apsofuckinglutely Classic!.

  • I've got the same t-shirt. :D

    Love your music.

    Greets from Germany!

  • you took me to a place I could never have imagined.

    thankyou

  • damn someone already said this was sick but I've no other words.

  • thats so sick

  • as much as every one else's "suggestions" "should" be helping you, I think that its amazing how you play it, it creates the mental image of how you see it, now how it was originally played

  • what key are you playing in? D flat?

  • yeah, c#, same thing

  • wouldn't it be simpler in Dm ? on the studio album they slow down the track, but it is in D minor, not C#minor...

  • i normally just do the song in whatever key its written in, which is C#minor in this case, im pretty sure the version on houses of the holy is in c#min not d minor but i could be wrong

  • the track was slowed down to drop the pitch a 1/2 step and give it a darker feel. if you play it in Dm you'll see 99% of it is on the white notes... JPJ was very clever but he did keep it simple. check out some live stuff and you'll see what I mean.

  • i hope you're picking 'em up, with talent like that.

  • Love the song and Love the Tool shirt ;) Keep it up man, this shit is awesome.

  • You've got a GOOD music taste!
