(I don't like CoB, except for the first two or so albums were Alex didn't play complete wank, so don't think I'm a butthurt CoB fan) Anyways, MPE is a lot heavier and their riffs are influenced a lot by thrash. They also use a lot more blast beats, and the vocals are more, lets say, heavier compared to CoB and a lot of other Gothenburg bands. Not only that, but MPE's lyrics are amazing, and a lot more original.

I have seen both Cob and Mpe in gig, and Mpe is better. Both guitarists are very good. Laiho... he's actually not so good when playing in gig. (Because he is so often drunk). And COB:s mixing in gigs are not good.
