  • @Silentline Production Perhaps you should do your homework for the last time I checked tyres for a wrc car that I serviced are between 400 and 600 euro each new.. Unless your talking seconds to which a wrc driver with ambition wouldn't entertain..

  • 中谷氏はやっぱり上手いですね。

    フェイントをさりげなく使ってのタイトなターンなんて最高です。

  • Emoddd do ur research wrc tires are average all season tires that u can buy anywhere

  • nice video shame its no in HD or something

  • The hot version should have put S204 vs wrc

  • yeah, rally is insane.

  • the stock sti is runing on road tires that is the biggest disadvantage

  • seriously, people need to learn to respect rally.. this is the fucking ballsiest driving ever

  • thats not fair the sti didnt have a guy telling him the turns in advance =)

  • ターンかっこいい!

  • Damn that looks like a fun ass course. id love to take me STi down it, gotta love REAL racing instead of that lame ass drag racing BS all the tools like...

  • is this toshihiro arai

  • That WRC car looks like fun, but my stock '04 STI is plenty fast for me. I've been learning to autocross it, and the car is still much faster than I am. TONS of fun! :D

  • One is 30k€ and the other is 300k€.....

  • I gotta sti...but i want the wrc car!!!!

  • That's not bad at all. Hardly like comparing a station wagon to a F1 car. Stock sti got about 90% the performance of a wrc sti. In fact, that is way better than I thought it would be.

  • @normalais I too was impressed with the gap. I thought the WRC would absolutely rip by him very quickly.

  • i love subarus, great to mod and fast as hell

  • as much as i like subaru the sti is what happens when you compromise everything for speed. fast as hell, but try running your nan to the shops for a pint of milk without breaking her back.

  • its would have been more fair and more of a challenge if they would have givin the stock Sti driver a co-driver also!!!

  • I can hear the difference. .....lovely sound ...

  • nice

  • 中谷さんじゃなかったらあっという間に追いつかれてると思う。

  • can´t compare ... this is stupid ... sti wrc costs 1.5 million...

  • @baixatola I dont think they are comparing as such mate.

i think they are just giving an example of how fast the WRC car is.

  • the stock driver is right having a co-driver dish out pace notes gives you a lot more confidence

  • The stock STi didn't do too shabby.

  • thats what I was thinking, it did great for a bone stock sti.

  • I'd like to see a base impreza, if just to see what you get for the extra 10k -15k you pay for the STI.

  • True, Just buy a base Impreza than swap the engine for and extra $4000.

  • and what about everything else that goes into them, man i guess ur young did you forget what limits that power? running gear suspention stiffer chassis better brakes lighter glass and parts, why wouldnt you go for the STI its wht they have done to improve on a car, and this is a multi billion dollar company with so much money they can throw at it to research the best parts for value with massive teams of engineers, what u say = FAIL

  • sti's are still super fast

  • @thatonething stock they really are not that fast..... i drive one, so i am not making this up..... go stage 2 then it becomes a fun car

  • 中谷さんは突っ走る!

  • lol grandma's station wagon vs. f1 race car... good comparison

  • its not some random comparison, its to give an idea how different the stock STI is versus the rally prep STI.

  • wat does that race prove

  • it proves how really fast the WRC cars go

  • That it's freaking entertaining to see a WRC car vs anything on a touge

  • @wrxlauncher it proves don't bother taking on a WRC car in the back roads, mountains, or canyons...you'll get pwned.

  • yes, it is

  • Cool comparison!

  • ''it must be easy with that co driver '' yea fucking right !

  • fucking music

  • not bad for stock.

  • The STi in the hairpin is a thing of beauty.

  • yeap, Evos and Stis are beauties :D

  • I love rally cars, but being from the US I don't see any of it. I hope this isn't a stupid question, but...what do they do to the old rally versions when new ones come out. Do they sell them? That would be so sweet!

  • i guess they sell them by parts...but that's a guess...

  • I know the Prodrive built Subaru WRC cars get sold to whoever wants to buy them, unless they're too wrecked to be sold as a complete car. Don't know about the other manufacturers, though.

  • Comment removed

  • @scadush Old race cars are usually on Display in the factories or even musems

  • WRC car has MUCH MUCH more torque, it is electronically limited to only produce 300hp, but unrestricted it really produces around 560bhp, and accelerates far faster than the production version

  • ok bro im a dumb lil kid so dont give me crap about this question...

what is the difference between hp and bhp???

remember im a lil kid only 15 so plz let me know

  • bhp is horsepower at the wheels, Brake horse power, and hp is at the engine or crankshaft, you will always loose power through the transmission and driveline so bhp will be lower than hp on the same car, hope that helps

  • Wheel horsepower is a better way to say horsepower at the wheels. Some people think bhp is "base horsepower" and that would be at the crank. You are right that a lot of power is lost through the driveline, especially on AWD cars.

  • @ jolinator

almost... bhp = brake horse power.

whp = wheel horse power and due to the reasons you already explained it'll always be lower than bhp

  • not if chuck norris makes the car

  • The 2004 is the best looking STI yet, IMHO.

  • the STi guy did great, alone without a co-driver still a sick speed for a stock car compared to that multi $100K car.

  • The stock STI is still fast as hell.

  • Good STi driver I thought, anyway you look at it, they are fucking sick cars

  • the 2004 onwards cars have much better launch control than the s8(2002)AND that car does'nt have boost out of hairpins. the on in the year after that do!

  • 14.6 secs off 2:52 is 8.5%.

    I think that's pretty fast for a $35k car.

  • its interesting to see how unstable the 2002 impreza wrc is at speed as well as underbraking, compared to the 2003 onwards when they intorduced the fin divided spoiler

  • dude the spoiler has no fuction until about 100mph downforce that is, and the WRC brakes are completely different, WRC brakes have a lot of surface area different for tarmac and gravel or it solely depends on what surface they are attacking

  • *its not "unstable" but the set-up was for bumpy surface is to make that car bounce a little bit to make it easier when changing direction hence lightning-quick on twisty stages...

  • better driver as well... looks like peter Solberg

  • great video man... more I need more mmhohaha not bad from the standard car plus he didn't have a co-driver. makes me think I want to strip down my rex & turn it into a road rally weapon.... hehehe

  • The WRC is one sick mofo....I want one!! But at 150k? F%$# that!! lol

  • really nice

  • about 7 seconds at km :-) the wrc are a rocket .....thank you wrc

  • I want that WRC!

  • damn

  • That rally driver is SICK.

  • damn where is the rest

  • Yeh where is the rest did the WRC finally catch up!!!!

  • Very nice video thanks..

  • FUCKING SICK

  • LOL awesome vid
