  • This is how general grievous should be in the new series

  • the theme music is scary

  • The ridiculous thing about this, is that Shaggy from Scooby Doo rip off character, yeah, he's called Sha'a Gi. -.-

  • Too bad he wasn't this badass in ep 3 ):

  • this remind me to samurai jack

  • general grevious, tornado attack!!!!!!!

  • THE BEST FUCKING CARTOON EVERRRR! BRING IT BACK, PLEEEAAAASE!

  • leeerrrrroooooooyyy jerkins 0:47

  • shagi couldn`t take the death of scooby doo anymore 0:47

  • 4:16 that face

  • For over a one volume ... Grievous kick ass to the guardians of peace and justice in the old Republic. Before ashoka...before the ....THE CLONE WARS GEORGE PERSPECTIVE

  • Comment removed

  • 2:09 i dunno why but this moment makes me laugh every time.

  • PÓR AHI VI A SHAGI DE SCOOBY DUU

  • 2:09 DOUBLE KILL!!!

  • If the droid army is a hoard of demons, then General Grievous is definitely Satan.

  • @TheNile182 Um...no. That would be Sidious. It's made quite clear in the movies what he is.

  • @DarkLordofHistory I wasn't referring to the Sith, just the droid army in itself.

Dooku and Sidious are higher ranked than Grievous, but it's Grievous who has the direct command of the droid army. Like a clone trooper said in "Shadow of Malevolence"; he's the "head clanker".

  • @glenakin Where did you downloaded it?!?

  • the new show dosnt even come close to how good this was.

  • "And the others?"

"They were not marketable enough, sir."

  • Anyone else really reminded of Samurai Jack?

  • @TheZacula This was done by the same guy.

  • And that's why you don't let crazy dog-food eating hippies become Jedi.

I am speaking, of course, of Shaggy, who was curb-stomped 54 seconds into the video.

  • esta mecha es...

  • The new clone wars series really screwed up Grievous, in the movie he was weak because Mace Windu had smashed his breast plate, but in this new series he is slow and unskilled. But in this one he is a EFFING Beast at lightsaber combat.

  • @Lilalbertus That's only because 2-d animation is easier to do than CGI animation. If it was easy to make GG look like a total beast all the time they'd do it, but it isn't sooo.

  • i dont think there is an epic'er battle than this

  • el q parece jeti es ciego?

  • yoda or windu would have played with grieveous. the other jedi masters ar far to weak.

  • Alguien me puede decir cual es el nombre del soundtrack que suena en la pelea?

  • Here is my idea as to why Grievous is awesome here and loses his impact later, this is the first time he is seen, the Jedi have no idea anything outside a sith could use a Lightsaber so well. He uses surprise, fear, and different tactics and styles to beat them. Later he faces many different Jedi, so it could be infired information on his style and tactics could be passed around, therfore his threat is lowered, that and his organs are ruined thanks to Windu so harder to fight on his part

  • Shaggy is a jedi?

  • grevious is sooooo much cooler here and has a far more watchable fighting style than in the 3rd movie

  • when i see some thing like this about jedi getting owned im like man if only reven was there

  • If you saw the last chapter in SWCW, you notice that Mace windu force crushes Grievous and caused a major amount of damage, it's probably the main reason why Grievous fought so atrociously in ROTS. Many people forget that Grievous is not a sith lord, he's just a jedi hunter used as a tool of the sith to whipe out the whole jedi, before there was Vader and the Empire. If Grevious could use the force, he could have easily wiped out every Jedi because that's a major disadvantage for him.

  • @AspergerTeenShorts

Most of Grievous' power came from his cybernetic enhancements to begin with. It does not really have anything to do with force potential. His only organic properties is his heart and his brain. Even if he can use the force, it doesn't mean his force powers are automatically on par with guys like Yoda, sidious or Windu. His light saber combat would be more impressive yes, but there is much more to the power of the force than just that.

  • And then I appeared and saved the Jedi

  • Grivous owns the jedies

  • I want to get this TV-show. It is so much better than the new one. And I want my future kids to watch it so they get raised with real good animation shows. Not the crap we get from Disney today.

  • Did he just crush a guy's head with his foot? That's legit.

  • @hemir9 Yep. He TOTALLY killed Shaggy. The Mystery team shall mourn for him.

  • the clones tottaly saved their asses!

  • That was awesome................

  • Guys you have to understand that it would be very hard to make him move like that in the move, a cartoon is a lot simpler

  • 2:58 hes like damn...Shoes untied

  • I know in the middle of all this, Grievous was like, "I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY BITCHES!"

  • Sorry but Grievous isn't this strong nor flexible. He was toying with those jedi, elite fighters WITH a (strong) connection with the force. He could take on a padawan and perhaps his master but no more. And yet he defeats 5 or 6 jedi here, but get's "chased" by a squad of clonetroopers.. It's sad that only Yoda, Windu, Anakin and Kenobi would be able to fight Grievous, but a veteran like Ki Adi Mundi gets disarmed in two seconds. Just my opinion of course.

  • @whitelighterJo i agree completely there are some serious flaws here especially considering how shaak ti is an extremely strong force user and the fact that ki adi mundi is an extremely focused fighter I dont doubt him killing the two padwans but he just destroys the masters like there just novices

  • @whitelighterJo By the time this fight happened Grievous was at the top of his game. His armies were demolishing the Republic wherever he found them and his lightsaber skills had reached near perfection while training with Dooku. On top of all that, he had these Jedi trapped and scared. Ki Ad Mundi is a great Jedi, dont get me wrong, but after watching 3 of his comrades get brutally killed and the other 2 knocked out (with little effort from Grievous) he had given up hope.

  • clone wars griveous is so much more badass than swep3 griveous

  • Alguien sabe el nombre de la musica de grievous aqui?// Somebody knows de sound track of grievous?// Por favor diganmelo si lo conocen// Please if somebody knows talkme

  • I know when Grievous say the gun ship he thought "O.O""""SHIT!"

  • Grievous was the most deadly Jedi threat at that time besides Count Dooku.

    He's a badass

  • this is better than the new one!

  • @skaterproduction1000 by several lightyears

  • He lost against Obi-wan, so bad for you, you cannot defeat the master of Soresu, not even Anakin could break his defense.

  • @oskaritomayer and yet dooku could,every time.

  • @Shiratsui by the episode 2 he was not a jedi master, in episode 3 he "won" because of his force powers are greater. When you read the details of the fight when anakin and obi-wan began fighting with dooku for real he became confused and could not break obi-wan's defense so he pushed him away to deal with anakin because he had more "chance " to win.

  • @oskaritomayer Actually he was under orders from Sideous to incapacitate Obi-Wan so he could focus getting Anakin to use the dark side. This was much easier without any intervention from Obi-Wan

  • @iceheart117 oh I did not know that, my bad :P

Where did you get this info?

  • @oskaritomayer Haha, thats fine

I remember I read it in one of the books, Labyrinth of Evil, a prequel to episode 3

  • @iceheart117 :O I want that book! heheh

  • If would been badass if some actions scenes like this would had been in the movie.

  • You know, in this series, General Grevious is a really good fighter. Competent, intelligent, honorable, and very maneauvarable. He was just awesome. Why didn't they keep that in the movies and new series. I still like him, but I prefer this version better.

  • Is it just me or did the jedi at the start look like shaggy from scooby doo

  • That choregraphy....one of the best so far...

  • As amazingly badass as this is. It's not very... well Star Wars. For example, at 1:40 his lightsabers thud the ground like hammers or clubs, shouldn't a lightsaber cut through the ground? It really is more or less an Anime cartoon like Samurai Jack but instead of swords there are lightsabers. However i do prefer it over the new one and love this cartoon style so much.

  • Wow, there's more death scenes in a cartoon of the Clone Wars than a digitally animated Clone Wars.

It's kind of sad, but I'm not complaining. The Cartoon is kickass.

  • the clones are awesome!!!!

  • General Grievous is just a wanabe Sith! I bet Star killer woulda turned him into SCRAP METAL!!

  • Why wasn't General Grievous this badass in Revenge of the Sith?

  • @MikeMars1225 I believe he suffered an injury later on in this series which caused him to have that rasp that he had in Revenge of the Sith which also caused him to not be this badass. If I remember correctly it was Mace Windu who caused it.

  • @fianle Yeah, I know that. But I'm referring to his whole Jedi Hunter persona. Where in the Clone Wars he wouldn't hesitate to jump in and fight 5 Jedi at once AND kick all their asses. While in Revenge of the Sith he boasts about hunting Jedi, but as soon as he's confronted by Obi-Wan and Anakin, he runs away with his tail between his legs.... He does that in the new Clone Wars series does that too....

  • General Grievous: "I was being pursued by Obi Wan Kenobi One on One in Episode III but den i got high"

  • Why are all the jedi apart from mace, yoda, obi and luke completely fkin useless?

  • What I don't get is why Ki could not have crippled Grievous with the Force. He's after-all mainly cybernetics.

  • well they shot him down alright xD

  • christ this is the most terrifying scene ever

  • anyone know where i can see episodes with these

  • ur wrong! It's Ki-adi-mundi, Shaak Ti. Aayla Secura, Tarr Seir, K'kruhk and Sha'agi vs General Grievous!

  • The only time Grevious doesn't use all four lightsabers is when actually should. He was facing like 5 jedi.

  • Grievous roflpwnd everyone in the animated series. The episode 3 version had me like WTF all the way through.

  • Kkrunk the little whipid isn't dead

  • better then the new 1

  • The Clones came in to rescue their asses only to execute them a few years later : /

  • As Count Dooku puts it, Grievous utilizes the element of surprise, fear and intimidation. These things are lethal against Jedi since it weakens their connection and focus with the force. These Jedi never fought Grievous or his unorthodox fighting methods before so they weren't prepared and got beaten badly. Its not the first time, considering Exar Kun defeated the "Yoda" in his age swiftly by using the first double-bladed lightsaber and that caught him off guard.

  • @GrandGetsuga0 Well said :). Guess that's why he sucked later on.

  • @GrandGetsuga0 FINALLY someone else who knows y grevious slaughters jedi as a hbby and does it well, takes me forever to explain it to my buddies

  • @KMDCommentaries ment hobby but the o didn't come out

  • i love how general grievous is so powerful in this. like in the book. then hes crappy in the movie and tv show

  • were can i watch the old epipsode like this

  • this would have made the films a million times better.....what an entrance

    instead of some weezing idiot.....

  • so a bunch of clone troopers > 5 jedi masters (3 in council) :D

  • @skltlmage Well They have guns, Besides, Grievous STILL took a number of them down, and all they did is burn his cape slightly.

  • I like how to Troopers stared for a second first XD hahaha! But I love fordo he is awesome!

  • don't mess with grievous.

  • the best figth from star wars : the clone wars xD

  • @JokyFilms this is star wars: clone wars, not that shit new show

  • ha ha ha this video is awesome grievous kills jedi

  • tan bacano el sound track

  • rip shaggy jedi : (

  • what? i thought kkruhk survived? he is in luke skywalker's new jedi order

  • animated grievous > third movie grievous

  • If people are still wondering why the Jedi don't just use the force on Grievous, well, just look at 1:43; the overpowered motherfucker actually dodges a Force Crush. It's certainly one of the more ridiculous versions of the general, but it manages to be so awesome that I wish they at least somewhat stuck with it for the newer cartoon series (since from what I've heard, the books and comics also originally stuck much closer to the "Grievounator" interpretation before the new cartoon began).

  • That is one BAD ASS gunship.

  • This is how General Grievous should fight in movie! One of my favourite characters.

  • Fucking.Amazing.

  • If only they kept Grievous this epic in the movie and the cgi series.

  • Grievous: bad ass

  • That spin crap is hilarious. Bullshit, but hilarious.

  • Anyone thinks the padawan who died first looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo?

  • @book2face Funny. His name Sha'a Gi.

  • K,Krunhk (that allien with the green head) has survived this battle, he even trained Cade Skywalker in the new Jedi order :P

  • competent grivous. Competent soliders. God I missed this series

  • Yoda would be ashamed. "We must try Padawan!"

"Do or do not. There is no try." No wonder they lost.

  • Anyone knows the name of the theme of the fight? it's just great!!!

  • grievous is dueling against ki adi and then the clones come

blue machine trooper: "what a show off"

both ki adi and grievous looks at the clones

red clone commander: "are we interupting"

  • I was schocked the first time that I see Grievous fight. But the time passing that impression about him was dissapearing.

  • when shaggy is not solving ghost mysteries or getting stoned and eating sandwiches he is off fighting and dying in the line of honour as a jedi

  • @ 1:51

That's Master K'Kruhk, he lives even though it looks like he dies in this scene. He becomes a Jedi Master in the New Jedi Order. He survives Order 66 too and became Cade Skywalker's master.

  • god i love the music that plays during the fight, also, GO K'KRUHK! HE SURVIVED THIS BATTLE AND ORDER 66!! and later part of the new jedi high council, good deal :D

  • god i love the song playing in the background during the fight

  • 0:51 poor shaggy

  • Is it jsut me, or is everyone with a green lightsaber considered a "Red Shirt" for Star Wars now?

  • it would be more awesome if grievous had darth maul's saber. baton spin!

  • 3:40

  • I never cared for Grievous. Also, a machine like alien should not be strong enough to kill/defeat so many Jedi.

  • @DraculaCronqvist That's the whole point. Grievous is one of the best villains in Star Wars. He had a lot of potential (As shown here). It could've been soooooo epic.

  • song please

  • LOL, they had to call in a pavelow....

  • Notice greivous is all overpowered and can pwn two or more jedi masters until mace windu got that lucky cut.

  • Everyone should hit 3 at least 5 times

  • EVERYTHING EPIC!!!:

    1:38-2:54 epic all-around fighthing style

    3:13-3:40 epic scape

    4:43-4:45 f***ing epic coat

WHY SCREW IT UP IN MOVIE SW3 AND SW: TCW????

    WHYY?? :'(

  • i all ways watch this on my dvd player

  • este pudo haber sido un gran éxito en Episodio III... tanto potencial, pero se la tenian que tirar, pasó de Badass a lameass a los 5 minutos de empezar Episodio III

  • Tch, Clone Wars's portrayal of General Grievous set him up as an overpowering, lightsaber-flinging Jedi slaughterer. . .while in Revenge of the Sith, he loses two of his arms to Obi-Wan in less than a minute, and is finished soon after that. What a disappointment.

Also, 1:30 proves that Grievous was made by Aperture Science.

  • "Gee wizz gang, it seems the lizard man dressed up as a bad ass to scare away the jedi and actually add tension to the prequels"

"And I wouldn't have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling George Lucas!"

  • Comment removed

  • Shaggy from Scooby Doo!!!!!

  • no shaggy! dont run out there youll get yourself killed!

  • this is y jedi suck and clones ruel!!!!!!

  • @geoyava

Their lack of free will and creativity is compensated by numbers.

    It's QUality VS Cuantity.

  • Properly titled, The Beat Down of Ki Adi Mundi

  • man, I remember this from when I was way younger! bad ass!

  • There's a huge disparity between the awesomeness of Grievous' introduction and the wimpiness of his death.

  • @eateroftheflame agreed, Lucas had his head up his butt for that one

  • Old cartoon clone wars > new animated clone wars

    By a mile.

I'd much rather have this one for a full 30 mins.

  • @thegamerman7 Agree,I even based an OC on this version of Grievious, and he kicks ass all the time, and his chest dosen't get crushed, and he is even more dangureous then this version of Grievious, his name.Grevourus.

  • 0:46 NO SHAGGY NO!!!.

  • yes grievous really does suck in revenge of the sith but lucas sets it up to be that way. remember that mace windi uses the force to crush his lungs iat the end and i think that's the excuse lucas uses to make him suck. Or it could be the obvious fact that its hard to pull off those in real life.

  • if there's ki adi mundi, shaak ti and aayla secura, who are those other jedi?

  • he killed 4 jedi, 4 arc troopers and escaped a LAAT gunship, yet in ep3 he gets killed off by obi wan -.-

  • Dude grieves is the most kick ass villain yet if they stayed they would all be dead long live the real clone wars

  • I remember seeing this on Cartoon Network and thinking, "HOLY SHIT!! This may be the most bad-ass villain since Darth Vader!" And then later, "HOLY SHIT!! He can have 4 arms and use 4 light-sabers...he just got even more bad-ass!!"

It was because of this that I wanted to go see Episode III, despite me HATING episodes I and II. When Grievous first appeared in Ep.III, I was busting with joy and was even happier when he got out his four arms but then...he became a pussy :(

    FUCK YOU LUCAS!!!!!

  • To the jedi this would be a horror filim!

  • this episode particularly showed how underestimated the clones (the arc troopers) were, i mean, they did what 5 jedi masters couldn't do

  • that guy in the 1:50 didnt die hes name is k'kruhk he survived

in the next 20 years he became one of the most powerfull jedi ever

he was one of the NEW JEDI COUNCIL (after the death of vader)

thumbs up plz so the others will know!

  • wth is this?? starwars but icartoon its not clone wars is it ??

  • @ViruzErazar it is

  • @ViruzErazar This was back in 2004 AKA the real clone wars!

  • Comment removed

  • Shaggy's a padawan???

    o.O

  • @migzfern2010 Haha. That's Sha'a Gi, Daakman Barrek's apprentice ^^

  • they did NO justice to Grievous in the third movie.. his backstory is just as good [if not better] than Anikan's;

    1. Grievous' droid body > Darth Vader's suit..

    2. Grievous' love interest died as well, but NOT by his own actions.

    3. Grievous was setup to be mortally wounded by the Sith; Anikan's injuries were from arrogance/stupidity.

    4. Grievous initially refused to join the Sith & wanted an honorable "Warrior's death"

    5. Grievous' story was an UNAVOIDABLE tragedy; Anikan's was easily avoided.

  • @yuskjr Who the fuck is Anikan? o_O

  • @yuskjr when does the general have a love interest?

  • "when does the general have a love interest?"

-before he has the droid body; when he is a Kaleesh warrior. the two fought & defended their home world together until she was killed in battle through no fault of Grievous'. he could not let her go because he loved her so much & so he changed his name to Grievous out of the unbearable loss of her. search the Extended Universe to find his entire backstory; it's a VERY good one.

  • @DeJay14 Before he became a Cyborg

  • @yuskjr anikan?

    did you mean anakin?

yeah this is an interesting opinion.

  • "did you mean anakin?"

-yah; though i spelled it wrong.

  • @yuskjr If only more people did research like yourself. I read his page from top to bottom thoroughly, hes such a tragic character.

  • "If only more people did research like yourself. I read his page from top to bottom thoroughly, hes such a tragic character."

-perfectly said; i felt the same after doing the same. :)

  • @yuskjr General Grie/vous never did join the Sith. He was not force sensetive, and therefore he never could have joined the Sith. George Lucas intended for Grievous to epitomize the CIS and foreshadow the technology of Darth Vader, he was not intended to be as well developed as Anakin.

  • "General Grie/vous never did join the Sith."

-please look into the Extended Universe; he joins the Sith to save his homeworld from assaults from the Huk armies that the Jedi aided.

"George Lucas intended for Grievous to epitomize the CIS and foreshadow the technology of Darth Vader, he was not intended to be as well developed as Anakin."

-true, but he was very developed in the Extended Universe; his backstory there is just as good as [if not better than] Anakin's.
