all 4th gens do not have posi or a LSD as other ppl like to call it. It is specific to certain models. My friend has a 98 camaro and he doesnt have posi as opposed to me with an 02 firebird with the performance package I have one.

you can buy a lsd off ebay for less than 200 bucks... its not that difficult to put in. stock v6 camaros did not come with any form of positive traction... someone probably just upgraded yours

Well, unless you have a Y87 performance package from the factory, or if you dont have a Limited Slip Differential, so you would only spin one tire.

Sure it did. There is a way to check like on the drivers side door sticker. It's possible that you have posi. Mine doesn't... its a 2000 V6 camaro
