@arjmcf , I just looked up your scripture reference and it actually says that we are to hide ourselves in the Lord for a short time until the trouble/danger passes. I grew up with the rapture a very large part of my beliefs, but over the last year or so, I have come to realize that we will certainly not be removed before Jesus comes back at the Last Trump. My question is how do you plan to make it through the trib as a bible believer without losing your head? Have you thought all this through? Will you now focus on barricading yourselves in the rocks till it's all over? My preacher has very suddenly gone your way (seems real popular right now), but I detect an angry/bitter attitude in this brand new stance of his. I'm thinking in truth, pretrib or any other trib, it ain't worth arguing over if the focus doesn't stay on Christ.

The rapture theory is a product of dispensational theology.
Study Covenant theology, its history, you will learn the church was at one time covenant in its thinking, untill disspensationalisim took over. Research this and you will understand what is going on (falling away). If you are in a pre-trib rapture teaching church, you are under a disspensational theology teaching, and no one bothered to tell you.
AMEN! A particular scripture reference that always puzzled me as a pre-trib rapture believer was that of "scoffers, saying where is the promise of your' Lord?"...which would also tie into a Great Falling-Away. I however DO see a problem here as we are specifically told that we will not have to endure the 7th bowl (God's Wrath).
I had to abandon the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine. Because if the temple is ever rebuilt in my lifetime, I realized we will have moved far beyond such an idea and are would be living INSIDE tribulation time. I will not be caught off guard when the mark is thrust upon me and I am standing there wondering what happened to the Lord. I believe Satanists might have from within the church introduced pre-trib to get many to fall from the faith. These same people may be today's Armageddonists.

This is definitely a difficult step for any christian to take. We all want to believe with all our heart that we don't have to go through it. I mean who doesn't want to hear how they will escape it, it's a doctrine that tickles the ears. It brings a sense of peace believing that you won't be here.

i too have come to this realization not too long ago. i think god has already begun calling his people home. Look at all the deaths in the last three years? i had 20 deaths (no lie) in a 2 month period in my family last year. that's not normal! and most from heartattack. look at all the celebrity deaths last two years? it's at an accelerated rate, they are leaving this plane and i think it is the weak who are leaving, they would not survive what's to come
Yes, there is no pre-tribulation Rapture. Jesus in the Olivet Discourse, Matthew 24, said that "immediately after the tribulation" "the sun would turn to darkness and the moon to blood" and in the ensuing time window of these cosmic signs and when THE SIGN of the Son of Man is seen in the heavens He would gather His Elect from the four winds of space-time. So in we must conclude there is to be a post-tribulation Resurrection-Rapture.

The problem is there is a vast presumption upon scripture, but there is nothing in scripture that says there is a pre-trib rapture it's a presumption. If you read the scriptures knowing that God did not take the children of Isreal out, but they were not appointed to wrath and God kept them where they were. That is just not how God works, the rapture or gathering according to scripture is immediatley after the tribulation Matthew 4:29-31, and is at the last trumpet which is the 7th trumpet.
The problem is - About 75% of professing Christians claim to believe in a pre trib rapture. It will be easy for Satan to deceive Christians who believe in a pre trib rapture into receiving the Mark of The Beast because they'll think... "I'm going to be raptured before the Mark of the Beast is implemented, so I'm signing up for this new economic system. What could go wrong?"

I think that Christian leaders who teach the rapture may lie to the people and tell them that it is not the Mark of the Beast, because they will be "raptured out" before that time comes. Then comes the great falling away. The whole trick of the rapture is for Satan to gain the souls of faithful Christians in the end by one big unbiblical lie.

I have stopped looking at the teachings on this subject and turned to what the bible tells us that we will go through the TRIB. but be taken out before the wrath of God is poored out. I am writng to you that the lord has given me the same insight on people falling away when they see that we will go through it. It is a bad teaching that leaves the church layZ. I suggest that all Bible believers research Project Bluebeam and the Voice of God Technology. Also look into hologram technology. Satan is a master deceiver and a liar. I find nothing at all about a 'rapture' either, its baseless. If there was a rapture, it wouldnt be very many 'Christians', all the 'Christians' I know, hardly any of them are actually Christians! I totally agree with you...I have been studying trying to find proof of a rapture. Not there!!!! I think many Christians will question God's love because we are getting beat up in this world. Loosing our finances and everything else, like I am and questioning if God really loves us, how could he allow this to happen to us. But I kept reading in Revelations where it states that the Devil will be given power over the saints to conquer them. Does that sound like any easy (rapture) way out?

i totally agree with your msg. i say the same thing to people i.e. "well if the rapture doesn't happen don't lose your faith!". while i understand why people believe it i just don't think its what the bible says. it would be nice though. so nice i'd like to believe it!

The rapture will happen on the 1335th day of the seven year tribulation. No man knoweth the day or hour because nobody knows the exact day or hour the tribulation started. I have recently changed my belief to be that our rapture will take place at the same time as the second coming. at the last day, when Jesus comes to raise the dead in christ, he will also rapture those who are remaining. We are the saints who will go through the tribulation. The meek shall inhereit the EARTH. Jesue even asked Martha if she belived that Lazaraus would rise again. she said, yes, at the last day- resurrection day.
The Jesuit Priest came up with many false doctrines to fight the reformation at the time (they were the counter-reformation). These are definitely one of those false doctrines! False Christians will never loose their faith in the Rapture, because when the second coming happens and they are cast into hell, it's too late to change their minds. The short answer is YES. Many will fall 'from the faith' because of believing this man made theory for so long. Once they realize the TRIBULATION has started they will believe they have been forsaken by God, and, it is highly unlikely that those who believe that would 'love not their lives unto the death.' the word rapture was not around till 1738, Augustine in the 4th century dismissed the gathering of the elect and saints prior to the tribulation. And the rapture was not taken into account again till we have the puritans.
To answer the question, if the church was to go through the tribulation they would never lose faith. But the true worshippers of god have an everlasting covenant with God and they will never depart from the way.
He is right. In Matthew 24 Jesus talks about what life will be like for Christians during the tribulation and even on Matthew 24:29 he states that he will return and we will join him immediately after the tribulation occurs. Amen! Hence the "great falling away"... What else would cause one? My husband and I couldn't come up with any reason why this would occur until we once believers and I mean strong believers of the rapture learned that the rapture is false. Truth of the matter is, no one knows for sure. That is what God wants. If we are all discussing and talking about it, it means we are looking for his return, but also fulfilling scripture as 'no one knows, not even the son' when it will happen.

My goodness the New Testament is so short and so easy to understand. All the books after the Gosples are just letters from God. Read them as if you just got a letter in the mail from our precious God. That is what happened when these letters were sent to the different cities in the apostles life. Love letters from God!
@MichaelHodgson My mom introduced me to the Left Behind series. This actually inspired me to pick up my faith in Christianity again and start reading the Bible again. I realize the Left Behind series is a book of fiction based off the book of Revelations, but even though many take too much of it to be true, it has helped me find Jesus again, so that is one good that has come out of it.
Scutter, what do you think about the two parables Jesus Christ gave in Matt 25 of the ten virgins and the servents with the talents? I notice that they were able to buy and trade up until the bridegrooms return and the servants lords return. these 2 parables dont fit in with a post trib idea., knowing that anyone who recieves the mark or the name or the number cannot be saved
did you get that idea from Chuck Missler? how can you view that PARABLE as actually talking about oil? Do you have an oil lamp going right now so you won't miss the rapture? It's a spiritual lesson. The point is, if you're not a believer, when the time comes, you won't have enough time to hear the gospel from those who have it to change your heart. The doors will be shut. The pre trib position flies in the face of Rev 19 and has Christ coming for the bride 7 years before she makes herself ready.

Hey brother I'm hoping that your wrong about the Rapture but I to believe the same. I believe that it is possible that the Rapture might take place after the first 3 1/2 years but not before that. I believe in mid trib, as a christain we are not subject to God's wrath, The last three and half years of trib is when God pours out His wrath, we won't be here.
If anyone has real questions about the Pre-Tri ratpure, there is a great site called "Rapture Ready". They have many articles about the pre-trib rapture and defending it .
I use to think there was no pre-trib rapture but from my studies and good resources I have found it to be true. I highly recommend reading all of their various articles on the subject on that site. They have a lot of info.

Hey, this should not become a point of division for the church. We are completely at the mercy of God and his deliverance. It is not so important what you believe in regard to when the deliverance comes, as it is to where your heart is at concerning you and God in relationship. His deliverance is coming to us, but we need to remember it is in his timing. Arguments will always be here and they help us learn, but lets not allow them to divide us as Brothers & Sisters. Yes I have come to the same conclusion, I would love to believe otherwise but I don't think its clear in the Bible. Rapture is the latin translation of the Greek meaning 'caught up' which the Bible describes; I believe that will happen but its the timing that is difficult to pin-point. I assume the 'caught up' phase will happen after the dead have arisen first to meet the Lord in the air e.g. at Christ's return.
I'm glad you are teaching this. If anything my faith is even more secure knowing the truth about the rapture and I was taught the rapture of the church when i was growing up. It never did feel right to me even as a young child and when my eyes were opened it was like being reborn because the truth of it shouted in my soul. The story of Job is an illustration of how Christians will be tested throughout the tribulation and encouraged to curse God and die, confess sins forgiven or not committed, or any number of things. Read his story as an allegory of what we may endure as Christians and prepare.

Just like ancient Israel who received a double portion of Pharaoh's wrath when Moses told them to keep the Shabbat Exodus 5:5, Christians will will persecuted for keeping the Shabbat.

There is absolutely no pre-trib rapture. The Israel of God (the Church) will be here & will be just like the ancient Israel in Egypt. The 7 last plagues will occur while we are here & like Israel of old, we will not be partakers of these plagues.
Like Israel of old, the antichrist will persecute us like the Egyptian Pharaoh but he & his cohorts will then experience the wrath of God in the 7 last plagues.

@arjmcf , I just looked up your scripture reference and it actually says that we are to hide ourselves in the Lord for a short time until the trouble/danger passes. I grew up with the rapture a very large part of my beliefs, but over the last year or so, I have come to realize that we will certainly not be removed before Jesus comes back at the Last Trump. Please check out these scriptures, Proverbs 10:30, Mathew 13:34-43, John 17:13-20 and Zephaniah 2:1-7. There's lots more,

My question is how do you plan to make it through the trib as a bible believer without losing your head? Have you thought all this through? Will you now focus on barricading yourselves in the rocks till it's all over? My preacher has very suddenly gone your way (seems real popular right now), but I detect an angry/bitter attitude in this brand new stance of his. I'm thinking in truth, pretrib or any other trib, it ain't worth arguing over if the focus doesn't stay on Christ.

Study Covenant theology, its history, you will learn the church was at one time covenant in its thinking, untill disspensationalisim took over. Research this and you will understand what is going on (falling away). If you are in a pre-trib rapture teaching church, you are under a disspensational theology teaching, and no one bothered to tell you.

A particular scripture reference that always puzzled me as a pre-trib rapture believer was that of "scoffers, saying where is the promise of your' Lord?"...which would also tie into a Great Falling-Away. I however DO see a problem here as we are specifically told that we will not have to endure the 7th bowl (God's Wrath).

I had to abandon the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine. Because if the temple is ever rebuilt in my lifetime, I realized we will have moved far beyond such an idea and are would be living INSIDE tribulation time. I will not be caught off guard when the mark is thrust upon me and I am standing there wondering what happened to the Lord. I believe Satanists might have from within the church introduced pre-trib to get many to fall from the faith. These same people may be today's Armageddonists.

I know what you're referring to.But don't you think using that verse as evidence is WILDLY speculative?
The thought train goes as follow.You believe this says the Holy spirit is taken out of the world.And since the Holy spirit indwells us this has to mean Christians are taken out,which means a rapture.
But couldn't this just as EASILY mean God simply removes his hand from the world,and lets Satan run amok?

Under the first half of the Trib things will be good for unbelievers under the Antichrist.

It is impossible for a "Pre-Triber" to lose their faith because we are "sealed" by God. 2Corinthinas 1:22; Ephesians 1:13-14 & Ephesians 4:30. Because the Wrath & Judgments in the Tribulation are upon an Unbelieving world, The "Body/Bride" of Christ won't be here. We Believe in Jesus Christ. We know Jesus Christ. That is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be in Heaven receiving our rewards, crowns & watching the Coronation of Christ. I'm going to watch Him as He receives his many crowns

This is definitely a difficult step for any christian to take. We all want to believe with all our heart that we don't have to go through it. I mean who doesn't want to hear how they will escape it, it's a doctrine that tickles the ears. It brings a sense of peace believing that you won't be here.
I'm guessing you probably went through the same thing i did, the questioning, and then wanting to believe it to be true, then questioning again. My family has taught it for generations, too.

Jesus said "You can have whatsoever you say" so you will go thru it according to your word of your mouth. But that does not mean you wont survive the tribulation or have your eternal life. Look at all the deaths in the last three years? i had 20 deaths (no lie) in a 2 month period in my family last year. that's not normal! and most from heartattack. look at all the celebrity deaths last two years? it's at an accelerated rate, they are leaving this plane and i think it is the weak who are leaving, they would not survive what's to come

Yes, there is no pre-tribulation Rapture. Jesus in the Olivet Discourse, Matthew 24, said that "immediately after the tribulation" "the sun would turn to darkness and the moon to blood" and in the ensuing time window of these cosmic signs and when THE SIGN of the Son of Man is seen in the heavens He would gather His Elect from the four winds of space-time. So in we must conclude there is to be a post-tribulation Resurrection-Rapture.

Nice work. I've been harping about this since '92. Robert Van Kampen (RIP) wrote a couple of books (The Sign, The Rapture Question Answered Plain and Simple) that mysteriously hurled themselves at me in the Christian bookstore :)The pre-wrath position was the only one that made sense to me from a biblical perspective, and I became quite concerned that pre-tribbers were being set up for delusion on a massive scale. The problem is there is a vast presumption upon scripture, but there is nothing in scripture that says there is a pre-trib rapture it's a presumption. If you read the scriptures knowing that God did not take the children of Isreal out, but they were not appointed to wrath and God kept them where they were. That is just not how God works, the rapture or gathering according to scripture is immediatley after the tribulation Matthew 4:29-31, and is at the last trumpet which is the 7th trumpet.

The problem is - About 75% of professing Christians claim to believe in a pre trib rapture. It will be easy for Satan to deceive Christians who believe in a pre trib rapture into receiving the Mark of The Beast because they'll think... "I'm going to be raptured before the Mark of the Beast is implemented, so I'm signing up for this new economic system. What could go wrong?"

I think that Christian leaders who teach the rapture may lie to the people and tell them that it is not the Mark of the Beast, because they will be "raptured out" before that time comes. Then comes the great falling away. The whole trick of the rapture is for Satan to gain the souls of faithful Christians in the end by one big unbiblical lie.

I have stopped looking at the teachings on this subject and turned to what the bible tells us that we will go through the TRIB. but be taken out before the wrath of God is poored out. I am writng to you that the lord has given me the same insight on people falling away when they see that we will go through it. It is a bad teaching that leaves the church layZ. I suggest that all Bible believers research Project Bluebeam and the Voice of God Technology. Also look into hologram technology. Satan is a master deceiver and a liar. I find nothing at all about a 'rapture' either, its baseless. If there was a rapture, it wouldnt be very many 'Christians', all the 'Christians' I know, hardly any of them are actually Christians! And the church today is just ridiculous, basically social clubs full of all the same sin you see out in society. So be born again, believe in your heart and say with your mouth Jesus is Lord, died to pay for the sin of the world disbelief in Him, and was truly raised from the dead.

I totally agree with you...I have been studying trying to find proof of a rapture. Not there!!!! I think many Christians will question God's love because we are getting beat up in this world. Loosing our finances and everything else, like I am and questioning if God really loves us, how could he allow this to happen to us. But I kept reading in Revelations where it states that the Devil will be given power over the saints to conquer them. Does that sound like any easy (rapture) way out?

The rapture will happen on the 1335th day of the seven year tribulation. No man knoweth the day or hour because nobody knows the exact day or hour the tribulation started. I have recently changed my belief to be that our rapture will take place at the same time as the second coming. at the last day, when Jesus comes to raise the dead in christ, he will also rapture those who are remaining. We are the saints who will go through the tribulation. The meek shall inhereit the EARTH. Jesue even asked Martha if she belived that Lazaraus would rise again. she said, yes, at the last day- resurrection day.

The short answer is YES. Many will fall 'from the faith' because of believing this man made theory for so long. Once they realize the TRIBULATION has started they will believe they have been forsaken by God, and, it is highly unlikely that those who believe that would 'love not their lives unto the death.' the word rapture was not around till 1738, Augustine in the 4th century dismissed the gathering of the elect and saints prior to the tribulation. And the rapture was not taken into account again till we have the puritans.
To answer the question, if the church was to go through the tribulation they would never lose faith. But the true worshippers of god have an everlasting covenant with God and they will never depart from the way.

He is right. In Matthew 24 Jesus talks about what life will be like for Christians during the tribulation and even on Matthew 24:29 he states that he will return and we will join him immediately after the tribulation occurs. Truth of the matter is, no one knows for sure. That is what God wants. If we are all discussing and talking about it, it means we are looking for his return, but also fulfilling scripture as 'no one knows, not even the son' when it will happen.

My goodness the New Testament is so short and so easy to understand. All the books after the Gosples are just letters from God. I realize the Left Behind series is a book of fiction based off the book of Revelations, but even though many take too much of it to be true, it has helped me find Jesus again, so that is one good that has come out of it.

Scutter, what do you think about the two parables Jesus Christ gave in Matt 25 of the ten virgins and the servents with the talents? I notice that they were able to buy and trade up until the bridegrooms return and the servants lords return. these 2 parables dont fit in with a post trib idea., knowing that anyone who recieves the mark or the name or the number cannot be saved

did you get that idea from Chuck Missler? how can you view that PARABLE as actually talking about oil? Do you have an oil lamp going right now so you won't miss the rapture? It's a spiritual lesson. The point is, if you're not a believer, when the time comes, you won't have enough time to hear the gospel from those who have it to change your heart. The doors will be shut. The pre trib position flies in the face of Rev 19 and has Christ coming for the bride 7 years before she makes herself ready.

Hey, this should not become a point of division for the church. We are completely at the mercy of God and his deliverance. It is not so important what you believe in regard to when the deliverance comes, as it is to where your heart is at concerning you and God in relationship. His deliverance is coming to us, but we need to remember it is in his timing. Arguments will always be here and they help us learn, but lets not allow them to divide us as Brothers & Sisters. I have done the research myself and this whole visions of the woman being taught by John Darby has been pointedly proven false. There are quotes from the early Christian fathers that 100% support the pre trib rapture.
Luke 21:34 says outright that we should take heed "so that day = day of the Lord" 35 that will come as a snare on the whole world. 36 that we should pray to be counted worthy to ESCAPE it.

It is glaringly obvious that Christians are going to suffer ferocious terror and death during the Apocalypse. And these verses are speaking of committed Christians as it speaks of those who bore testimony to Jesus and to the Word of God. These are not wishy-washy believers who are being executed here. A parallel passage speaking about the same time in the Book of Daniel reiterates these awful truths.

Yes I have come to the same conclusion, I would love to believe otherwise but I don't think its clear in the Bible. Rapture is the latin translation of the Greek meaning 'caught up' which the Bible describes; I believe that will happen but its the timing that is difficult to pin-point. I assume the 'caught up' phase will happen after the dead have arisen first to meet the Lord in the air e.g. at Christ's return.

I'm glad you are teaching this. If anything my faith is even more secure knowing the truth about the rapture and I was taught the rapture of the church when i was growing up. It never did feel right to me even as a young child and when my eyes were opened it was like being reborn because the truth of it shouted in my soul. The visions were supposedly seen by Margaret McDonald. Who was a sick woman in Europe. That's when the "craze" got started. Thanks for all your videos.

/the "tribulation," is not a reference to all troubles in the world but rather a specific event at the END of the Age wherein the anti Christ comes to power which will usher in the Second Coming of Christ when he will establish his kingdom on earth. one understand that Jesus said he was going to prepare a place for us and come to take us to that place. The Bible says those that make it through the tribulation shall build their homes. These are two different groups of people. The church is going to be like unto the angels and won't be able to marry and have kids. I'll say again, u have to understand that the church is not Israel and israel is not the church. U have to understand Prophecy. We are dealing with two groups of people. National Israel who are black, i'll prove that in a minutes. I had the same experience brother. Thought the same things myself. I found the truth when the Lord opened my eyes, and I had no Idea that others taught that there was no such thing as a pre-trib rapture. I discovered it through the scriptures. For any of us believers to think we won't have to suffer any real persecution is very very very sad,however satan through many false teachers and false prophets who make a living out of such false teachings has decieved many people i too use to be one of them.Why would we believe it even though the Apostles themselves were ALL matryred,it is because false teachings attract people who want a way out,but it does not teach sacrifice nor obedience!,we want the goods without the sacrifice!
