It is BRIGHTON racecourse. I'm in the video with the binoculars in the T shirt begind the singer but cant see my face!! I got there early and realised they were shooting a video but it was pretty much unknown to the crowd so I positioned myself to be in it but just failed! By the way there is no horse called Gin Soaked Boy. Interesting song though.

@4132286 A drunk - 'soaked' means covered in liquid, and Gin is a type of alcohol. 'Soaked' on its own can mean drunk too, and even just calling someone a 'soak' (but they're pretty old-fashioned.) Gin socks wouldn't be practical unless you were wearing wellington boots.

A gin soaked boy, was a cockney expression for the kind of gentleman a lady of virtue would best avoid. SlainteReurns, Gin was like the smack of its day in Victorian London. It was cheap, strong, badly distilled and had a high methanol content, which could make you go blind.
