Pity WM is very unresourceful and clunky. Granted this showed some major GUI improvements over the stock interface, it comes nowhere near the iPhones 'snazziness'.

That's a good effort from Tosh. We didn't really get to see smartphone features...and I want to see the calendar and contacts up close. Hows does IE perform? Wanted to see the soft kboard in action. Camera. Video. But what was shown was ok. That UI is horrid. The swishy 3D panels are like on the Experia RIP. Not enough showmanship to hide that it's Windows underneath.

Damn !! 1GHz Snapdragon CPU in a mobile phone !! That is amazing.. that is almost double the CPU of iPhone 3G and new HTC devices. This Toshiba mobile is a freakin monster, i saw the specs, it has everything, and i literally mean everything !! I have a toshiba laptop, when I first bought it I needed a memory upgrade right away due to performance, a few weeks of having it the DVD drive died in it and I had it serviced. Not too long after that my powercord went out in it and I had to get that replaced, now it spontanously shuts down on me every 5 minutes.

In another video, it said that this phone has a different chip-set that enhances battery life. It said that it lasts longer than the iPhone. That's good!

played with this in japan for 20mins its very quick but the interface is utter shit. they shouldve let other operator insatll their os onto it. there is a rumor that the stripe will be dropped as to many issues from pre production consumer tests. we need iphone gps sold my ip3g have sony x1 but would go back to iphone 3g if i can get a gps turn by turn on it

Microsoft still insists on putting those tiny little OK and Close buttons and other buttons that are impossible to get to with your finger. Tapping buttons on this 4.1 inch screen is just a difficult as the 3 inch screen on the HTC. All this hardware completely wasted by Windows Mobile. They have to come up with their own OS or a better front end for Windows Mobile to the point where you don't even have to see Windows Mobile. The best so far is the HTC Touch HD.

The hardware for this device is amazing but the software is not too good. It is windows mobile that slows down this device, but you put android on this, it would run great. The software NEEDS WORK.
