  • it was good stuff...

  • man.. I remember when this movie helped me get over my first love

  • good review btw i think Public Enimies is really good i loved it

  • Not familiar with the Smiths? 0: Wow.

  • its a fail movie ..............

  • your shirt and beer contredict themselfs.

  • ...I liked public enemy...

  • Uhh.. are you a wizard?

  • i absolutely loved the movie. I loved the fact that it was really realistic. I think that it was a love story. It showed a relationship and i think that it was well played out. I also loved the chemistry between Summer and Tom, it was great. It's so easy to relate to it. I ove the soundtrack too, one of the best i've herd... They couldn't have picked better songs.

  • @XDani278X If you like the soundtrack, make sure to check out the Lil' Wayne/500 Days of Summer mashup that just came out a few weeks ago, search for 500daysofweezy

  • @XDani278X It's about a girl who leads a guy on, says she's not ready for a relationship, doesn't stay with him, meets a random at a coffee shop and marries the guy while the first is left sitting on his ass trying to figure his shit out and the movie validates everything she did.

    Wait, that is realistic. Nevermind.

  • @SupaTROopa2 It's realistic because the movie captures the emotions of love. Sometime it doesn't turn out the way we though it would and we always say "She/he is the one!" but there is no real way of knowing, when we think we've found them we're proven wrong. Girls often don't even know what they want.

but I'm sure both girls and guys can relate to it that way.

  • uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh (guy on the left no offence but work on that)

  • Good movie for angst ridden 'assholes' (deluded hopeless romantics) such as myself.

  • She had in the course of the 500 days repeatedly avoided and reunited with him when it pleased her. In the end, she had no problem choosing him over somebody else. Tom was just somebody she found adequate enough to compliment her. To suit her ego and amusement.

  • @DamianRavenblood yes exactly. People keep saying it wasnt her fault and he was the fool. She was just passing time with him and didnt care how it would affect him.

  • Contrary to what Dechanel gave to interviews, her character was not totally open and ohnest about her feelings for Tom. If she was, the relationship wouldve ended much earlier. I mean cmon how long can you stay undecided about somebody. In the end, she was never truly prepared to commit to him.. This is very obvious.... (more

  • Summer's an eccentric arty farty bitch. But you gotta hand it to her, she was always steps ahead of Tom in terms of how she viewed the real nature of their relationship. Tom just didn't catch on quick enough. Not entirely his fault...(more)

  • boring ass review.. mix it up with some kind of entertaining stuff

  • when i first saw this i made it my new favorite movie of all time

  • i really liked this movie :D

  • haha cool review, and i agree with the 10 out of 10 part. its my favorite movie ever.

  • 500 days of summer was great and very original it wasnt like

    Boy meets girl

    they love each other

they get mad at each other for a while

    and then make up

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

I have that same sheet they have in the background.

And I still use it as a blanket.

    +5.

  • 500 Days of Summer has easily become one of my favorites.

PS - I SO had that Ninja Turtles blanket when I was a kid. lol

  • One of the best movies Ive seen in a long time it doesnt happen often so go see it or buy it on dvd!!

  • It was a twenty somethings verison of Annie Hall. Awesome

  • The movie was alright, it wasn't AMAZING but it's definitely a movie i'd favourite because of how realistic it was and how it did I agree, have the ability to make you feel mixed emotions. I also must mention that you guys are super cool :) You can tell you guys are close buddies, haha shows alot of personality in the video. Good for you guys :D

  • I agree with you.

Personally i thought the movie was amazing. But how amazing it was to you depends on the person ^^..

But one thing people cant deny is how good it was in portraying the realistic sequences of a relationship...

which in a way enlightened me deeply...

Especially cause its a dude flick

  • lol, you think u invented the screwdriver

  • Must agree. 500 Days of Summer is a great movie.

P.S. on your Napoleon Dynamite comment -- 1st time it's not that great. 2nd time it's hilarious. Wouldn't waste time watching it a third time.

  • PUBLIC ENEMIES IS A PIECE OF SHIT MOVIE! you guys are awesome ...ha 500 days of summer is my favorite movie!

  • orange juice and vodka already has a name, its called a "screwdriver" lol

  • Just discovered you guys... Good review! I like hearing guys' perspectives on this one, for sure. And I think I'm going to start sipping a glass of wine in my reviews - lol. You guys rock.

  • saw the movie. loved it.

  • were right* :-p

  • yeah i saw the trailer like a thousand months ago!!!! and i can't wait anymore! here in Argentina we're still waiting for this movie

i'm full of expectations, but i don't think i'll be disappointed cause i'm totally obsessed with Zooey, that's why i didn't like u just mentioning "yes man" jaja but well, great review guys!! i'll come back then to see if u where right!

  • im sorry but i thought the movie was a bit pretentious and tried to be something it wasnt, a love story. all in all, it technically WAS a love story just not your average love story.. anyway, bombard me with thumbs downs if you may, but for me, this movie sucked. your review was alright.. i agree with cigarettereviews that you didnt know much about all the awesome movies that joseph levitt was in and shouldve looked into that.

  • Well, they are aware of his other movies... but were just trying to do a quick mention of what people might recognize him from. And I would say without a doubt that 3rd Rock From the Sun is his biggest role.

And no thumbs down from us. We are always interested in other people's reviews and thoughts.

    -Jordan

  • I have the same sheets!!! lol awesome

  • and that is an excellent favorite movie

  • lmao, thumbs up for you, man!

  • i actually didnt mean to give you a minus one i prolly accidentally hit it im pretty shitty with a mouse. but yeah sorry mate

  • i dont mean this in a mean way but you guys didn't seem to know much about levitt's past roles. i really suggest you check out his filmography. he's been in some very good movies, his best most recent movie before 'summer' was probably the lookout or mysterious skin.

  • Mysterious Skin was such a great movie.

  • you are complaining about 9 bucks!!! we pay 12.50 here!!!

  • BLAME CANADA!

  • I want to see 500 days of summer so bad, but it doesn't play anywhere near me. and your review was good and made me want to see it even more.

  • 500 days of summer was the best movie i've seen all year. hands down.

i don't care how far you have to drive,

    if you can see it,

    go.

  • no they don't.

  • are y'all just gonna start reviewing movies?

  • We'll always try to keep a mixture of reviews, concoctions, ford missions, and maybe some skits in the future!

  • oh ok ...do more concoctions

  • Noted! Thanks for watching.

  • OMG, when you said "she dies!"

I screamed so loud. Ahaha xD

Good thing it was a joke.

  • It was absolutely a joke. I'm usually not that mean.

  • holy fuck i used to have those TMNT sheets that you have in the background

  • You might consider putting "Moon" on your list with Sam Rockwell if your into sci-fi, mystery, thriller, psychological type movies. List is very similar to mine!

  • We all just watched the trailer for Moon last night. Looks great. I hope it plays in a theater around here. -Jordan
