The student is showing a way to do the break, not the "correct" break. This way is played by Franz Elsen, former The Hage conservatory teacher and Barry's friend.

Great to see barry close up, however, there's nothing more irritating and timewasting than a too clever student trying to "teach" the teacher what the correct break to the tune is after he's learnt it parrot fashion from the record.

The whole point of this is to get Barry's take on things, not to see a student demonstrating how accurate his transcription skills are.
