Love your sound! Are you switching the tubes for different takes or keeping them the same? Which tubes are you running for the clean sound at the start of the video?
Thanks man - Keep playing, and I'll definitely keep listening!
Hi, what do you reckon the green back speaker brings to the sound in comparison to v30? more fenderish, or voxish, marhalish? does/can that make sense?
green back more medium sounding=best for clean sounds? gosh sorry for these technical questions and thanks for the demo and cool sweet playing.. sounds better with camera mice that suhr mic in front with dry colored sound
I use this amp occasionally in small clubs, it is usually loud enough but doesn't have a lot of headroom and also misses some bass in my opinion. if you mic it and have a monitor that's perfect.
Depending on what preamp tubes you use, it doesn't have a ton of clean headroom. But you can use it as a preamp in front of an inexpensive clean power amp. (Like the Crate Powerblock). That way you'll get the Uni's amazing tone at loud volumes. Or fire your drummer and hire a musician instead (-;
hey thanks and sorry for my late reply. I have tried it with different speakers, it sounds great with a lot of different ones just try and see what you like best.
OK. That's the best I've heard a Univalve sound. Very nice, both low volume and higher volume -- and even high gain. What were the different settings? And what's speaker/cab?

Ahh, nice. My THD is on the way. Now I can't wait to plug in my Tele.
Have you tried it with any other speakers? Alnico Blue? Vintage 30? G12H?
What's in your signal chain?
