Although I disagree about Forcier being a poor man's Stanton, I agree that Stanton didn't get much help and that was his major problem. He also got hurt in the spread which is more likely. Stanton was a good player. Forcier has more college potential IMO, but even saying he is equal to Stanton means he is a good recruit to me. Keep in mind Stanton never even played as a true frosh and wasn't a very good passer until he was a jr. His big downfall was his sr year when the supporting cast fell off.

Although I disagree about Forcier being a poor man's Stanton, I agree that Stanton didn't get much help and that was his major problem. He also got hurt in the spread which is more likely. Stanton was a good player. Forcier has more college potential IMO, but even saying he is equal to Stanton means he is a good recruit to me. Keep in mind Stanton never even played as a true frosh and wasn't a very good passer until he was a jr. His big downfall was his sr year when the supporting cast fell off.

Listen I was the first to say Henne was the best QB in the nation when he came to Michigan.Look what happened he turned out to be the greatest QB ever at Michigan. Tate will be fine who knows what will happen but 1 thing is for sure even as a true freshman he is better than last years QB's hands down

Come on man, like the coaching staff is not going make him bulk up ? The seasons like 6 months away. And even though I think he's going start, he's still not our only option for QB. And with the unbelievable accuracy this kid has....he might not even need to run as much as you think.

As the cliche goes: you can't tackle what you can't catch. Forcier will not get injured. Nobody's going to able to hit him hard enough for him to get injured. Just look at Pat White: he was as skinny as Forcier, and he only got injured in one game late in 2007 despite running the ball like 500 times in his career. if White practically never got injured, neither will Forcier.
