Yo! If u're down with that ILL HIP HOP and/or that GANJAH, then u need 2 peep the ORIGINAL vids on my channel, like "Let Me Be Free", "Pass The Fluffy", "Roll It Up" & "Zone Out"! They will have you LUNCHIN', especially if u're BLAZED UP!
I used to LOOVE the hell out of this song. I have an oldsckool VHS tape with this video among other old skool videos and I just HAD to put this jam on their TWICE. WE RUN TINGS! Big Ups fi di Caribbean peoples! Im like everyone else here, I miss Hip Hop now that its dead and gone.
represent real black hip-hop but today very little hip-hop today . no skills no deejaying no creativity no imagination no love for the past but they sure can steal 70,s 80,s 90,s and 60,s beat right.6/7/2009
Like he says: We represent the hip-hop not the rap! Commericial mc's don't make hip-hop no more. No more deejaying just bullshit rhymes about money, hoes and how big their egos are.
Classic hip hop joint. And the line "We represent for hip hop and not for rap" has a lot more meaning now than back then. Rappers need to go back and listen to more of this stuff and reflect how far away from hip hop they've gotten.
damn i miss listenin to hip hop in middle sckool, we would bring the radio and just laugh and chill. 7th grade days. did u remember a song that went "1 and here comes the 2, brothas gettin murdered over nothin/yes yes"? who did that track?
Damn thats awesome, I finally know where that "i represent the real hip hop" sample came from on that KRS and das efx song, learning is fun
