  • WHOA!!! I SO need to do this to all my tv's once i get my shop cleaned up. I will post this on my tv's once i get a sony handycam.

  • how did you you get all the same picture on the TV

  • i love old tvs

not this new high def crap

i got a floor model in my bedroom

  • I have about 50 vintage TVs, 6 consoles (soon to be 7).

Newer TVs are dull and lack character. And built cheaply in China. I'd love to see a new TV last 30-40 years on all original parts and keep on going.

Disregarding the resolution, a lot of these vintage TVs have a much better and brighter picture than HDTVs that I've seen.

  • @spatsbear2 insignia TV's are decent so far. i have an early LCD HDTV and still is going strong..

i also have a 42" JVC tube TV

  • Amazing collection man

    I've been wanting a Zenith system 3

  • we have a hd TV and and it broke i love old tv i have a 1948 motrola tv the small tube does not light up should it light up to work

  • It's like walking into a TV shop! How did you connect them all? splitters?

  • I have 4 8-output distribution amps (22dB amplification) tied into my DVD player.

  • I wish I had that many *working* TVs!

  • Amazing!! Just like walking into the TV area at Montgomery Ward some 25 years ago!

But one question; Did you blow a fuse, or use separate different circuits for this?

    Just wondering. Great job though!

  • I think total it was drawing about 14 amps. And my bedroom shown here at the time only had a 15 amp breaker.

But I never blew a breaker.

  • this is awesome!

  • Reminds me of the department stores with all the televisions tuned to the same channel. Nice collection going on there! I have one old TV which is a G.E. that has the digital tuner.

  • hope you got DTV converters for those, mister :P

  • Reminds me of the old tv stores or the tv dept. in kmart or best buy back in the day. cool

  • I'll bet the tube sets are hot! My old '63 GE gets SUPER hot! LOL I've always wanted to find an all-tube color set.

  • Such an awesome collection of television receivers! I see some real gems in there. I wonder what the total power consumption is?? XD

  • It is probably close to 1500 watts! Vacuum tube sets double as space heaters, great in the winter :)
