They did not just stand in front of their shops, they actually stopped them entering the neighborhood. One of the guys were talking about street entrances, apparently they had multiple groups guarding the choke points, looters were coming in packs and they were charging on them, the other guy said that looters were still around and checking to find weaknesses, they seemed more organized and well aware of the situation than the police.

They did not just stand in front of their shops, they actually stopped them entering the neighborhood. One of the guys were talking about street entrances, apparently they had multiple groups guarding the choke points, looters were coming in packs and they were charging on them, the other guy said that looters were still around and checking to find weaknesses, they seemed more organized and well aware of the situation than the police.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was a good military leader when he fought foreign armies, however when it came to ruling a country, alot of his cultural reforms only set Turkey backwards. Turks had to spend years learning new alphabets, they were forbidden from wearing certain clothing (that is not"democracy" or "freedom")

My point is that there is a difference between freedom of religion and freedom from religion, with the latter not being a freedom (but rather government interfering into your personal affairs). You honestly think religion ought to be destroyed, even by force if necessary for a modern society to develop?
