hi i like your tutorial. How do i get the ruler when i distort the text? If there is a ruler for measurement this way i can get a better looking scroll so it won't look kinda of weird. Please respond.

Coole tutorial... ben al een paar dagen aant proberen in premiere... Ik ken er nl niks van. Ben al 2 maand bezig met onze USA reisvideo via moviemaker to monteren, enkel de intro is nog ni klaar, en hoop dus om zo'n scrolling tekst te maken... (kheb een probleem met die scrolling tekst di niet mooi in het midden van mijn scherm scrolt. De tekst helt telkens af naar rechts)

It's been said before, but let me say it again. I am so grateful to you for putting this demo on youtube. Adobe has great software, but it is criminal how little info it includes with the package to help beginners get started. Most people have very specific things they want to do with this software, and it is a disservice to the great software to give so little direction on the most popular means of using it. To render: press enter.

To save: cntr+s

to export: file-export- choose from there.

Is there any way to change the scrolling direction of the text? I followed your tutorial and everything works fine except for the direction as the text scrolls from the top of the screen to the bottom... any idea how to change that? Obviously this was a presetting in your premiere version???

Setting the title roll 'on' in PPro, it rolls from the bottom upwards. How did you get the inverse roll?

However, easy to fix: R click the title clip => speed/duration => check reversed. Done :)

I tried to do this, the tutorial is good and it works OK except for one thing. The words look fuzzy or laggy and it seems to jump instead of scroll smoothly...any suggestions?

Playing in realtime can lag with a slow computer. Also try rendering before playing it: this can take a while. Maybe the title time is to short (the longer, the slower the scroll). Pierre.

Quick question...is it possible to justify the the text alignment? The star wars crawl uses a justified alignment and it's a real pain trying t do it manually, but premiere pro doesn't seem to have a Justify option, just right, left and centre.
