This was one of my favorite songs when it first came out, and hasn't fallen off "my" chart since. I suspect everyone loves this great song. Lately, critics have tried to diminish my appreciation for it, by saying it's about intravenous drug use. The "Silver Girl" (my favorite part) is a needle, followed by dreamy echos and 'waves' of tympani simulating a drug rush. Reference to "sailing on", 'dreams', etc. I say they're nuts. It remains one of my favorites. Can't undrstnd the dozen dislikes.
