Checking immunity a few months after the puppy vaccination much safer than doing repeated vaccinations and this test is safer for adult dogs than unnecessary vaccination when the dog very likely already has immunity. It should be noted, that even a low titre still means the dog is covered and dose not mean the dog needs to be given a booster. A low immunity can be checked again at a later stage to see if the immunity has gone down further and then owners can decide whether to re-vaccinate.
@plutha Studies have shown even with low immunity for core diseases the dog or cat have not develop these diseases, which are in the environment all the time.
A high immunity does not need to be re-checked for several years, there is no to vaccinate during that time and quite possibly for the life time of the dog.
