He went a bit overboard here i guess, but what he said is true.

I bought one last year, due to pure missinformation, and right now i just wish i got a 60D instead.

I mean, it is a "good" camera. It takes pictures and all but as soon as you get it and learn more about photography you'll wan't an almost imediate upgrade rendering the money you saved on the "cheaper" camera a waste.

Put it down as simple as i can. Don't buy it, unless you're pretty casual.

Who cares if this camera is cheap? As long as you know how to take photo you don't have to worry about it.. Also, T3 has better ISO performance than a T2i, so that's a big plus for this cheap camera.

Don't forget you might want some better/other lenses than the kitlens soon, so if the 600D Body+18-55mm is the money you want to spend. The 1100D might be a better choice, in order to have some spare money for a faster, wider, longer lens...

1100D is about £350-380 and is for those on a budget, or for someone starting out. A 600D is about £600 and 60D is about £800+. Seems like a poor comparison to put an L lense on one of these too when if you could afford to buy them, you probably already have a far better camera.

Red is optional, standard is black and the grey comes with an IS lens in Jessops. It's a perfect first-time DSLR which isn't overpriced.

I have the T3 (1100D) and am very pleased with it. I see where he is coming from because a professional wouldn't want something like this. However, for a student on a very limited budget, it is a very good beginner DSLR with a decent image processor and solid lens. However, the body IS cheap and the flash does suck. Just invest in an external flash and upgrade when you can afford to.
