  • I have a 150-500, will it fit in that bag?

  • @LinaBrundell Not Sure But I think You better buy Fast Pack 350 :)

  • Opening fully loaded feels totally insecure as the bag pitches forward at a precarious angle. Loaded as shown the zip strains to close it up again while you now have the camera you just retrieved to juggle - almost as if the main access flap is 2 inches too small. Sits way high on ones back. All in all I am no so crazy about it, I had read so many good reviews.. May well sell it again as I am not sure I can put up with the shortcomings. Try it loaded before you buy.

  • love this backpack! sturdy materials, large capacity (perfect for camera with grip) and secure back-entry compartment. the top straps and the front compartment are also very useful for carrying additional personal effects (eg. clothes and books).

keep in mind that if you are around 6 feet tall, it may be not so comfortable to wear. a very well done product!

  • @ge0ma5 I had heard this elsewhere and was a little weary of getting one but I'm 6'4" and find this bag really comfy with around 14 pounds of gear in it.

  • @bfnded I think that the torso length is crucial to valuate the best-fitting backpack. With a product like this, with belt straps, the weight should be settle on your lombar area (the shoulder straps should just balance the weight on your back). So, if you have a long torso, the backpack will fall in your lower back... Try a solid backpack for trekking and you will know what I'm talking about. Anyway... this backpack is for sure a great product!

  • I have this backpack for 1 year now, it's great!!

I use it for my Sony VX2000 and Nikon D70S with 2 lenses and everything fits. The tripod holder and raincover is also great! Wears comfortable, even if I walked with it for like a hour.

  • I got this bag few days ago...great value for money, and very well designed...10/10

  • The TSA will love to go through this puppy

  • They should put a extra compartment for laptops users as-well?

  • does the allweather cover work in case of snow? is the DryZone200 better in that case?

  • Gorgeous backpack.

  • The Flipside seems awesome, I just need to decide which one to get now. The 200, 300, or 400?

  • @seanmcbay --- i have the flipside 300 --- i find the side pocket to be too small---the waist belt is to thin -- and the tripod foot extends below the bottom so i cant ride my atv seated without it lifting the tripod up and bonking me on the head---but i do love the swing around feature----so im going to get the flipside 400 with the better waist strap

  • im hoping these bags, no matter what brand they are, are also slash proof. sometimes, weather is not much of a concern. other people with bad intentions are always a high concern.

  • いいねぇw

    これ買おうっと!

  • I find it sort of uncomfortable to get access to your gear... I do like the fact that you can carry some of your non-photographic stuff, though

  • I don't use SLR cameras. However, I do have a Canon H$40 camcorder. I am also a student a lug a 3+ inch binder to school.

Is it possible to partition the walls inside to accomodate the camcorder at the top, while providing space in the bottom for the binder? Plus, will I be able to carry more stuff like a small lunch and notebook??????

  • I love my flipside 400..I can fit a 200-400 en 70-200 nikkor +d3/d2hs in there !

  • I got my 400 AW today and I really like it! It's the perfect backpack for a photographer who wants to know his equipment safety. Especially the little extras like the hidden tripod-holder or the rainprotection are great!

I've got it for around 100 Euros, that's okay

    5*

  • congratulation.

is backpack protected from the rain with tripod on?

  • Normally not, because the rainprotection fits very tight to the backpack (see 1:30), but if you have a smaller tripod (travelling-edition or how this things are called ;o), it will work. I tried it 2 minutes ago

  • thank you, thats what i assumed.

it rains here in florida. i guess i'm going to have to carry tripod in my hands when it rains.

  • @evasmc It will not fit with a tripod attached.

  • @evasmc no.

  • Can you put a sweater or something in it ?

  • I have this backpack and it works very well! The opening in the back system works as well as announced for me, even with a full backpack. With a tripod on top I have to use my thigh for backup, but that's not a problem.

I have to mount my tripod on top as it's too big for the mount on the back, but that's where I put my folded up fleece jacket, so it works very well.

There is also room enough for food and enough beverage for a days trip.
